    Update

So this weekend i was able to get a lil bit accomplished and find out more about the project i took on. i was able to cut some of the driver side floor pan as well as grind out the rust and other bs that was lurking around the lovely passenger floor. I will be attacking more when i get home today and ill get some more update pics.. For the record i used the wire wheel and a 3m stripping wheel and some aircraft remover which is the absolute truth... lmk what you gentlemen think im still playing with ideas to tackle this floor. any input is welcome

You should leave the driver's floorboard cut out and make the car a Flinstones car.

Wow, that car is rough. Even worse than my E30 was when I sold it. But good for you for tackling such an ambitious project! With a lot of patience, talent, and money it can be certainly be saved.

I can't believe your still considering this. The floors are the least of your concerns at this point. As a body man that's restored plenty of shit boxes, let this one go. At the end of the day the time and money you put into this will never equal out to close to what it'd be worth in good shape. Cruise craigslist constantly and you'll find something, I found a e30 m3 roller that was rotted less than this for $3500. That'd be worth the time and effort not this car.
