  • E34-fever broke out. New daily inside

    Hi out there.

Because working on my e28 is not possible at the moment, I bought a new project. An E34.
Its a 520i with LPG injection, because its cheaper than gas in germany.
I consider to use this beauty as my new daily and sell my A5 for building a house.

    So, now the beemer...
520i LPG, everythings working fine. Color: lazurblau
She has M-tech outside, M-tech steeringwheel, manual sunroof, armrests in the front, tow-bar...

    no electric windows, no air-condition...

I bought it from the very first owner, so the car is in very good condition (I thought ) but some rust-problems. And an accident with a deer...

As I saw it on the auto-lift the first time, I was shocked. On both sides there where huge holes rusted. That was covered from the M-skirts, so I didn`t see that.

We already fixed this, put new brakes on the rear. I put an original 525 exhaust on it. Now I could drive to the vehicle inspection.

    First some Pics:
    the day i bought her

In the right garage my E34, the left is my buddys black e34

I picked up a rare set of Style 16s in 8/17 and 9/17. Test fit on my buddys 5er:

Yesterday I found a also lazurblau E34 not far away from me. I bought it for getting some parts. It has 4x electric windows, cruise control, electric sunroof, folding rear-seats, and some other stuff.

I will put the fender and drivers door onto the other e34 and also take the el. windows and the other things with.

    Things to come:
Next week I will order suspensions
    maybe some 16" winter wheels
    and much more.

I will shoot some more pics this weekend.

      Some new parts arrived

I started to strip the bad E34, to use the fender and door on the other one.

Here a photo of the welded and finished area.

      Interior:

      And some tuning

luckily I picked up a FK Highsport suspension. This will be here today or tomorrow. Then I will mount all the things

            Good Morning

Unfortunately my BMW stays in a little cold garage without electricity, so it`s hard to do anything at -2° Celcius.
But last weekend I managed to finish the body parts I need.

Thanks to my buddy Aaron, who has some place to work.

Here a picture of the "new" door. The fender was in worse condition...
I sanded all the rust down...

Found a curious construktion to hold the parts

            new paint...

And then we test-fitted some 18" Alpinas on Aarons E34. He will paint them white for next season.

hopefully next week I will get in a new Garage where I can put all the parts onto the car..
