I still would like some e36 front coils. Somebody help me out!

1.) Careful with the random spring game, I threw the front spring from my e36 coils in the rear because they fit perfectly but it was the worst bounce I've ever ridden on (AND I've had some CUTTT spring cars).
2.) do you know if these are shorter than the saab 900 struts people run? I'm not even low in the rear and I'm totally resting on bumpstop.
3.) there's no way you're going to be able to make these fit without a front camber solution and rear camber arms. Link to rear camber arms HERE

Yea for the rear spring deal, I probably won't use them, The spring rates on them are pretty low, but i thought it was neat that do fit.. Ill probably end up getting some e36 race lands and using those springs or something.

The Ford Rangers struts are pretty dang short, Do you know how long the Saab 900 struts are?

Yea iv been trying to figure out the front camber, Iv found a few companies that make camber plates, But also cost 350$+ and iv herd you can make e36 camber plates work... So I'm dying to know what you used!!
The rear camber arm diy is awesome. But i do have another question, what did ya do about rear toe, is the factory arm able to fix all that?

And i went with a 195/40/16.. I was going to do a 165/50 lol.. The car would have been on the ground with wheel gap.

So the Ranger Struts bolt straight up? This may be my low cost solution if so

          progress IS a slow process

The rear raceland springs wont fit well solely because of the shape of the spring, but you could probably rig something up to work with them. As for the e36 camber plates I was going to order some ebay e36 camber plates until I stumbled upon my current ones. I'm running camber plates from a Volkswagen MKV Golf GTI. They've been custom modded to run up to -5 degrees on a gti and settled in around -6 degrees on the w124. But I had to do a LOT of cutting to make them work, my strut towers are pretty much as swiss cheezed as I'd feel comefortable driving on. Gotta get em boxed up. As for the rear arms, I haven't ordered mine yet. Natural camber on these cars settled is around -5 degrees but it's not as agressive as it sounds. And I was having a look at my toe arms the other day and I think you could get away with slotting them or making a custom adjustable rod with the same parts the camber arms are made with. But the rear arms use a triangulated shape on these cars so I may end up replacing all 3 arms... Pricey pricey

Anywho goodluck with this, if they end up being too aggressive I'll buy em off of you. I'm dying to lose my 'FAKE' wheels.

Yea pretty much, The only thing i had to do was beat out the metal sleeve in the bushings on the factory struts and put them in the ford struts.

Yea the springs are an odd shape. Ill rig something up lol. But you are saying e36 camber plates will work.? Because iv found the perfect set that silver project makes. And i haven't had the chance to put the car on the ground to see how anything even sits. ill get my tires mounted soon, Plus its been to cold to work on the car. But -5 is better than nothing.. really cool you got those plates to work by the way, i really like that you cut into the tower. But let me know what size arms you get and what you do for toe. But thanks for the help man!

But ill keep you updated on the build on Instagram
