    Thank you very much sir.
I am also thinking for some more lows, however it is my daily, wheels here in Greece are bad, and I also have the exhaust hanging out a bit too much. As it is, it combines looks with great functionality, plus it corners spectacularly for a fwd car.

That said, I might lower it even more myself, hahahaha.
I am just letting it sit now for a few days, and then play some more with height

Some more work was done in the daily

Out it went, to give me access at the back

Random pics of the removing process

Then the sunroof drawer had to come out - what a pain in the ass

      Out it went finally

      These will be cleaned

      Hello roof

And here is a teaser of what I have in mind

Stay tuned, more to come

I love the car overall, but the exhaust is a bit too much for me.
        Interiorworks are nice!

                So here is a proper update . . .

First of all, I was coming home the other day, and after I locked the car and was heading home, I notice some coolant-look-alike liquid on my grille.
Sadly it was coolant. The upper nipple of the coolant expansion tank had broken on its own after the years, and coolant was everywhere. Luckily I managed to to do a quick fix on my own, mostly MacGyver stuff, and it held for two more days until i could leave the hospital to get the new one from the stealership.

Here it is, installed all nice and clear now

                Lowered it some more

It hasnt settled in this pic, went even lower afterwards. Feels great on the road

Then some pics from the trim shop, random ones

Then some more new stuff from the stealership

                SunRoof Switch

Not a bad way to spend almost 80euros for this little piece of sh*t

New GTi/R32 Sunvisor - one more to go to complete the puzzle

                Mirror looking good

                Power connector ready to go

Also these came in for the RS4PRA Project

And new hardware for the headliner installation when everything is ready to go back in

                Cheers guys

Parts ready , and couldnt be happier with how they came out

                  And some close-ups

                  art . . . .

                  Cheers

                  more to come

Then it was time for some work in the sunroof stuff

This got painted, factory style really pleased with how it came out

And then look at this porn

                    I couldnt stop smiling

Pics dont do it justice my friends

Then, I decided my steering wheel was very tired and needed some loving

This will become awesome I think, just wait for it

Then I had another idea - Why not do something special for my iphones, both for the 4S and the 5S

                    Almost finished

                    There you go

And it will close at the upper part with a button.
I made two versions, one in Audi colour, and one in the Daily colour

                    Headliner pre-assembled

Also installed this part at the back of the trunk - Remember the tired cracked plastic back there ? Not anymore

Installation of the roof took its time

I have no words to describe how happy I am with the results

Proper pics to come in a nice photoshoot after I get the steering wheel and handbrake propably

                    Cheers

                        • Then there was another thing I have been wanting to do for some time now . . .
The Golf, being my daily, also has to do some travelling and roadtrips with me.
But given it is not the biggest car in the world, and add to that the fact that i cannot easily load things at the back seats, due to my front seats being bolted down and not able to go back and forth, I had to think of something else.

But, Like always, I had to choose the best out there. So went with Thule.

Boxes arrived and it was like christmas

Quality was above expectations. Went with their best model the aerodynamic wingbars in aluminum so as to be light

They even supplied the clear vinyl to protect paint

Extra rubber for perfect air seal

                          Preparing for installation

                          Locks on all 4 feet

                          First pics during installation

Later on I noticed I had installed them the other way around - LOL and fixed that, more pics to follow . . . .

Then i received my steering wheel which was fresh and ready

                          Horn too

                          And installed

Installed them wingbars in the right direction and went for some quick pics

                          Side view

                          Front view

                          More to come

I think I have found the perfect carrier for my needs and my style . . .

                          Cheers

                            • So, last Sunday, i thought why not go for a nice ride in the sunny day of Athens, next to the sea. It all was great, until the point that my gearbox decided it could take no more.
First, the 2nd gear would not come in place, and then, it got worse with the gearbox making weird sounds.
I was easy on driving, trying to bring it home. Thing is, home was about 100km away, so it was a risk, that I had to take.
Rattling and braking noises became even worse, and then i started smelling lubricant burning. I knew the gearbox was destroyed by now.
The car, amazingly, managed to take me back, and make it to the shop, which opened for me on sunday night. Such a hero car, really.

Oh it will spend some lonely time in here

May I present to you the damage

Yeap, when I am onto damaging something, I aint kidding

                              Transmission Oil everywhere below

                              So let's do some work

                              And out it went

                              Leaving us with this

Then you might say . . . why on earth do they remove the engine, so as to change a gearbox and clutch-plate kit ?

Well the truth is . . . I might have gotten some more plans in my head instead of putting money on the old setup . . .

                              Got these . . .

                              And these . . .

                              And this . . .

And them, I also had to get something to fit them on, didn't I ?

                              So I did

Started collecting parts from the stealership

Lost no time and did my first mod - LoL - shortened the oil filler cap

Set of 4 new RS4 CoilPacks

                              Much more to come

                              Stay tuned

                              Cheers
