Since some of the pics aren't working, did you sell the ej civic for the ea-t?
You're half left but not all right. It's like calling an American EJ7 (which is a Hatchback D-series if I'm not mistaken) an EK9 (teh 1337 no sunroof recaro b16b type R yo)
In Japan the are E-AT, in Australia they are E-AH, in Europe they are as E-AZ (I think) etc etc.
To me calling an aussie civic an AT is insulting, (very different trim, body and engine options) LOL this car isn't even fuel injected...an E-AT has a fuel injected twin cam...
Apples and oranges. Though one day I will own a genuine E-AT and it will eat my wallet and cause 7 divorces and then impregnate my grandchildren
Are the pictures still are not working? (F-U photobucket)
I've come very close to selling Gladis a number of times for other AH's and it's never worked out in favor.
In this turn of events I am very-very-very-very-VERY happy and I am keeping them both.
I ultimately will work on one car at a time and put them through different stages and when one car is in pieces, the other will humbly be driven.
I've booked my road trip solidly now. I need to fit extended studs (or find steelies to drive on) to pick up BBS goodness (return the bluddycrubs) and the cars (will have shitload of things to be put on) in the coming weeks once I do the 2,000km return trip. I can't wait to hammer the drive out and maybe take some video and pictures along the way of our beautiful scenery to show.
Minor update.
on Tuesday I used my silver tongue to strike a deal with a bloke on a couple of bits out of his graveyard, Wednesday I raped and pillaged them.
(These came from an EM1 - Facelift coupe w/ B16a2 factory)
I'll probably recover the arm rest when I revise the interior and the clusters will be used temporarily whilst I do some dicky shit to my standard cluster.
Getting closer to Queensland come Friday, gotta get ready.
Last week I contacted a mate of mine and got some mini cooper steelies in 15" for free (no pictures, they're silver) and today I hit eBay up and got something for $1 in the hope of chasing more tyres.
They're 195/50/15 and I may put these on the BBS instead of running it's current 205/50, I'll see.
Anyone have an idea what they are?
They're marked ATS?
Yeah, the guy in green is me, I like green

ATS is a german company, good quality.., ATS Wheels
Iirc they were a oem option for the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa A.
They will look super cool on the civic.
But i think you need hubcentricrings from 56,6 to 56,1...
Thanks for that link and info. I didn't see these wheels on their site (thought these might've been fakies)
I did notice that they were pretty close to the AH's hubs.
I didn't want to wait and fill them up with air because it was about to start raining.
These wheels are in good shape but 2 have a bad buckle and 1 a minor one, the tyres will come off and be swapped
The tyres will probably come off tomorrow and go on Buddy Club and I'll probably get some quotes to have these fixed or consider getting the mallet out..lol
love both cars! the e-ah looks like its in awesome shape
Thanks Random.
I really wasn't sure if they'd suit the Civic's but they are pretty cool.
You'll love both even more once I'm back from my trip
The AH presents well bit there's some stuff I need to do in-order to be comfortable, I want to take my time with it.
I've stalked your thread heaps over my time lurking here, I'd get mad jelly of your JY shopping (our JY's charged heaps more then your ones) and how well you put everything together on the Saturn (and glad your civic hasn't taken away from it)
I don't think that's an EM1 cluster.. maybe it is judging by it's redline... but in North America that colour scheme is a DX/EX cluster...
This is a NA EM1 cluster.. specifically Canadian (KM/H)
I should have specied, I just got our lame AUDM spec EM1 Cluster, I'm very jealous of the Canadians rocking their OEM clusters with red needles. Do you know if they are expensive over in Canada?
Though if I'm not mistaken, all of our EM1's were built over in the American factories too
Today I did a little more preparation for tomorrow (realised I was posting late yesterday)
I put tyres on the Buddy Clubs and they;re in my boot, I'm rocking steelies to Brisvegas
The steelies really make me want to slam the car even more.
I might put the ATS's up for sale and see if anyone is interested and throws me an offer, I don't think I will have enough room in the garage as of my return
I am open to shipping internationally, feel free to fire a pm away.
I brought a mate with me to teach him how to drive a manual in Gladis, we drove up Friday night and came back Sunday night.
Nothing like having a good drive for the weekend, teaching your mate to drive a stick (he now wants to do a manual swap in his Holden Commodore, so I accomplished what I aimed for)
I did bring a few things back with me
I also realised when it was too late that I left a number of things up there also, d'oh.
After work today I was feeling lazy, I got a phone call from my CL ad offering me $39 for the wheels, he was specific that he didn't want the center caps.
Damn. This guy knows how to make an offer (that's scrap price)
They're going on a 1996 Barina, they're gonna look so nice on this.
Instead of mucking around with Gladis after our long weekend, I thought I'd spend a little time with HannAH and tease myself to dream a little more.
(30 year old wing)
(little bit of poke, 13-15x7 +25 may be perfect for an AH)
Tyres need to GTFO, EK needs more BBS, AH Civic needs proper mounting hardware for wing, etc etc.
I'm gonna go back to my tooheys dry and parts hunting.
