You're half left but not all right. It's like calling an American EJ7 (which is a Hatchback D-series if I'm not mistaken) an EK9 (teh 1337 no sunroof recaro b16b type R yo)

In Japan the are E-AT, in Australia they are E-AH, in Europe they are as E-AZ (I think) etc etc.
To me calling an aussie civic an AT is insulting, (very different trim, body and engine options) LOL this car isn't even fuel injected...an E-AT has a fuel injected twin cam...

Apples and oranges. Though one day I will own a genuine E-AT and it will eat my wallet and cause 7 divorces and then impregnate my grandchildren

Are the pictures still are not working? (F-U photobucket)

I've come very close to selling Gladis a number of times for other AH's and it's never worked out in favor.
In this turn of events I am very-very-very-very-VERY happy and I am keeping them both.

I ultimately will work on one car at a time and put them through different stages and when one car is in pieces, the other will humbly be driven.

I've booked my road trip solidly now. I need to fit extended studs (or find steelies to drive on) to pick up BBS goodness (return the bluddycrubs) and the cars (will have shitload of things to be put on) in the coming weeks once I do the 2,000km return trip. I can't wait to hammer the drive out and maybe take some video and pictures along the way of our beautiful scenery to show.

    Minor update.

on Tuesday I used my silver tongue to strike a deal with a bloke on a couple of bits out of his graveyard, Wednesday I raped and pillaged them.

(These came from an EM1 - Facelift coupe w/ B16a2 factory)

I'll probably recover the arm rest when I revise the interior and the clusters will be used temporarily whilst I do some dicky shit to my standard cluster.

    then?

    sell EM1 cluster
    ???
    profit.

[QUOTE=SHOGUNOVDDRK;1239603Picked up a set of ITR wheels with 195/55/15 RE002's with a decent amount of tread for $250 and I saw a mate to hand back some wheels of mine.[/QUOTE]

I sold these on Monday night for $200 minus the RE002's because they're already on the Buddy Clubs.

I plan to use some of this cash towards going to Queensland and towards restoring the works and maybe tyres on them for HannAH and maybe a few small things for Gladis

    More stance to come eventually.

    Spanks for reading guise.

    Thanks arsa.

The AH is my favorite body too, I just wish that Honda made more things interchangable with suspension - I'll have to work on this.

I haven't made the trip to Queensland yet, I spent the money I had prepared for my trip. So for now the BBS's will wait, despite feeling like it's going to take forever. Hopefully the trip will be done this month and the girls are happy after

I fixed almost everything that Gladis needed and got her running nicely, for the first time since ownership I felt more confident. I'd had other shit to fix in the mean time from my day to day thrashing but I am happy.

After a bit more of a thrash, I stopped feeling like a piece of shit and took some photo's.

So fuck it, I've got herpes while we on the subject...

    Then a few weeks passed

and a few more weeks passed

Fucking AH civic's, everywhere, cunt's won't leave me alone.

I did ask if they were willing to sell and if they came with the car.
    They didn't get it.

So I started compiling more parts to distract me from the AH's of my desire I was almost ready for 5stunnin and R33 GTR wheel fitment.

then I noticed the 84-87 Civic market...

and on a whim I sold everything

My envelope of cash was speaking to me........ "buy them, buy them all, cunt"

I went and checked them all out.

Some had rust in places I'd never seen AH's rust

Some were mint but their owners wanted $2,000+ AUD (which is beyond my budget)

And then I met HannAH. The seller wanted $1,000 yet "wanted it gone"

40 minutes of determination, talking, not taking NO for an answer and $400 later I took HannAH home.

Hannah needs a little attention but I am very content with her.

Next on the list is registrations, Queensland trip (to pick up LOTS of parts for both cars) ,then begin body work on HannAH, drive some more and maybe fit these works on HannAH

Thank you stance works, bare with me.

Don't do this to this particular wheels. BBS RA's are cast and stupid soft.

Get longer studs. Get a longer 17 or 19mm lugnut set too and you'll be fine.

I was pissed off that Tapatalk wouldn't work before but right account, wrong password.

I'm aware my threads not that interesting yet and I'm crap at updating, it lacks pictures, some long hair, god damn it Lloyd show em some leg!

I have a 450D I should be taking photos with but fuck man, Gladis is a dirty cunt because houses are being built round 'ere and don't care for Honda.

    So heres another step forward.

I went to Dr Car, Gladis had her link bolts re-threaded and done.

Not only brought the wrong fucking sensor with me, bought the wrong sensor, FMD Lloyd.
Ordered the new one, it'll be here in two weeks.

He did as I asked and thoroughly went over the car, told me the standard "The car scrapes as is, raise it" I mentally yelled "fuck no" but didn't want to be rude - he did me a favor and may another and handed me the list of to be done.

I drove away after paying with a huge ear-to-ear smile, it grew as I took that first left turn through the quiet sweet streets - the car is hugging the corner, it's getting better off the line but weak given tyres and FF status (needs tyres), the coilovers are coming alive and less harsh now - a sigh of relief as I walk in the door armed with the same smile - almost there.

    "Where's that fucking list?"
The mental image of it flying out the window, agony as I run through my pockets.
    "....fuck...."
"....duh, it's in the cigarette pack."

    In red was:

Outer tie rods R (I'll do both sides)
    A/C + alternator belt
    Driveshafts.

That was last month, I've had a tad more work so moar money.

Today I spent the day conservatively spending my dismal savings and VTEC-ing around and picking up everything that was red on the list from some of the local shops.

Once the day was done I went back to my wheel whoring ways.

Picked up a set of ITR wheels with 195/55/15 RE002's with a decent amount of tread for $250 and I saw a mate to hand back some wheels of mine.

I'll probably post tomorrow if I find goodies tomorrow, in the car graveyards.

    Thanks Marc.

I had a look at your build thread, mad jelly of your volks.

How do you think the EG chassis will go with the 17's?

Really starting to consider this though are they worth much? lol

I'll have more pictures up soon lol

Thanks man. It's something I obsessed over as a child LOL

I'm pretty content with speed at the moment though ultimately I'd love a J-swap.
I'd want to keep it simple, that same sorta fuzzy impressional felling I fell in love with Honda in the early 2000's, though my real love is the 84-87 Civic's and I still want another one haha

I've been stalking Oxer's girl Jessica? for the past week and it's ever inspiring, I hope I can make Gladis as class as Jessica.

I've just finished my course at TAFE so I'm currently seeking out an apprenticeship in spraying and panel beating, I'll see where the knowledge and money takes me.

The chassis is about to hit 380,000 K's and I feel its coming time I have a mechanic have a proper look at her so Gladis is booked in next week to have the passenger side sway bar D-link bracket bolts unthreaded and have other associated areas done and my 02 sensor and maybe some extended studs, the car should be solid and I'll lower it more

I've noticed its time I consider doing this leaky vtec solenoid gasket/Head gasket, its getting silly and I need to get some spare wheels so I can do the 2,000K round trip to give Darryl his Buddy Clubs back and get the BBS's I'm thinking of going meaty with a 205/50/15, rolling and slam the kent, then maybe spacers..

I've resprayed the front bar whilst at TAFE because all of the paint on it was flaking and coming off, it was pretty farked (pics to come)

I'd like the car to look like sick as I drive around to see my family in my Santa onesies on Christmas Day LOL so it looks like I'll be saving for the trip after I get everything sorted

Whilst that's going on I'd probably want to do my suspension bushes and install my solid torque mounts then maybe buy tools to fix my dents and eventually respray.....but I'm addicted to driving the car, so I'll see.

In all honesty I want to get the car low and looking fine like last year and I'm tempted to just buy widened steelies and use them immediately and fuck fixing the car off but I won't lolol

I'm just hoping before christmas I get a bit more shifts so I can finish paying off my debts and play with the car a fair bit and have a mad christmas day.

    then more low

    then
I was actually hoping to avoid having to do that because I'd feel it'd be wrong (from a wheel purist point of view)

The coilovers have another 5cm of thread left and I'm currently planning to buy extended wheel studs so I can fit the wheels with other wheel nuts I have (that need to be machined) without modifying the holes as they appear to be for BMW?

Once the wheels are fitted I'll be working on the guards getting rolled, the car being lower and the other blemishes of the car (like my massive dents, maybe a respray in another green) then spacers.

    Officer,

    The swap is stock.

    The swap is stock.

    The swap is stock.

    The swap is THIS stock.

B16b Headers, meet Sedan D16 exhaust.

Once the swap was done, I stood in a 45 minute cue and got the car signed off (approved by local traffic authority) then I thought I'd pull the wheels out from under the house that I'd bought earlier which have been waiting for this moment

So with the advice of my housemate Darryl I got stuck into polishing them up a bit and they came out like this after a day or so

A few days later though I thought it was a great time to try and fit them on

    15x7.5 +25

Wheel studs aren't long enough - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Conventional wheel nuts sold at local shops won't fit in the hole - FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
This nut might fit....if I don't.......AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!

    Cunt's fucked.

So instead my mate lent me his old school Buddy Club's whilst he holds onto my BBS's and I sort this arrangement out (I've just moved interstate) and here's where the car stands for time being whilst I do things here and there and get it closer to where I want it to go.

    Thanks for looking guys.

Hopefully everything becomes so cash and I can update moar.

Over the course of the year I'd finally done a few minor things like my door trims, roof lining, shifter surround, headlights, put my old head unit in and eBay visors, fixed the rear windows, replace brake pads and rotors, etc/BLAH and a lot of Kilometers and killing bugs n shit.

After many trips between Brisbane and Sydney I started noticing the D16Y4 started losing power up hill...it'd done a hard and rough 340,XXXK's before I got to it and I hadn't serviced it for a while...BUT I finally had enough saved to do a few things.

The coilovers are F12K R10K and I am very happy with them for $600

First picture after the first drive with them

and after a few more months passing my housemate and I pulled the B16 out of his EK4 and it went into Gladis.
I'd formally like to thank Darryl for all of his work with the car.
