So its official going ls ordered a low miles 5.3 today so the plans are:

First off I need to address the steering the yellow area shows that steering runs right behind the cross member right where the oil pan would sit fix for that run a front sump ls 240 oil pan which should sit in the general red area may need to trim the front of the cross member. Next would be exhaust header for the driver side the steering box sits in the green area may have to run block huggers or have some customs ones made. Motor mounts going to use stock gto block brackets because its setup similar to the benz and build off those if I get over these hurdles the rest is easy and a cake walk. I am not planning some badass drag car just reliable weekend cruiser that I know when I pull the start knob it will start and get drunk and do some burnouts

So the v8 plan is being put on hold till later this year I wanna try and make sowo and h20 so I got a replacement motor a while ago just never did anything with it so i am going to slide it in and bag the car and hopefully have it reliable enough to drive everyday.
So to start off I spent 30 mins pushing this big bitch around the yard to get in the garage. Got stuck the first so I had to drag it back forward with my e36. and put down some wood.


Now the motor is about ready to come out just gotta unhook the tranny stuff and drive shaft I honestly have no earthly idea what im doing if it was a honda or chevy I would be done by now.

Got the motor out going to clean up the bay and replace the motor mounts and vacum hoses and crap
