I'm a noob on the forum and this is my first build.
This summer I bought a 1991 240sx coupe. Auto. SOHC KA24. Welded dif.
Bride LowMax Gias seats (real). Crappy NRG steering wheel. NRG quick-release hub.
Coilovers (not sure of make).



Also worked into the deal, RB20DET, 2 - 5-spd trans, open dif,
lightened flywheel and a bunch of other little goodies needed for the swap.

Pulled the RB apart and got the head almost completely rebuilt at a local shop. Replaced exhaust side valve guides, valve stem seals,
got the valves reseated, head planed, all that good stuff.

Bottom end of the motor looks good and turns easily by hand, cylinder walls are great.
My buddy thinks it might possibly have aftermarket pistons but I don't know for sure and I haven't looked into it yet.
Just need to check the rod bearings and that will probably be as far as I go for now engine wise.
I have also accumulated a few other parts along the way...
- ZeroLift engine mount kit
- Walbro 255 (put it in before I pulled the KA so I could make sure it worked properly lol)
- Cometic metal headgasket (not sure that counts as a part but whatever)
- Ebay special intake manifld (top portion)
- Megan Racing radiator
- Isis braided clutch line
Pulled the SOHC and traded it for new aftermarket Z32 rotors, e-brake assembly, and rear 5-lug.
