Let me introduce you to my 1990 Honda Prelude Si..

So this is my second build thread that I have made, (first one is here) anyway I thought that I would start one on here because my car is more into the “stance or fitment” scene and that a few more people on here would enjoy it. The prelude forums have a lot of “purist” an so they aren’t into the stance seen an my not see “eye to eye” with me on my build.
Well anyway a little background on the car itself… I’ve owned the car for almost two and a half years now, but when I bought it looked like this..
The first mod I did was paint the 17” wheels and gave it a set of lowering springs (shocker!! Just like every other Honda)

Next up was a set of wider 15x8 +15 traklite wheels, an with these I had thought I was slammed and stanced like a mofo….
After rocking this slight mexi-poke setup for almost six or so months, I got my hands on a set of ground control sleeved coilovers, which got rid of the of the poke, but in return gave me some crazy reverse rake. (I eventually figured a way to lower the front more down the road)

I ended up selling the wheels to help fund my next try at “stancing” my car, I had picked up a set of diamond steelies off of a buddy that had them on his miata. At first I thought they 15x8 +13 F and 0 R but after test fitting them and then finally measuring them they ended up being +13 F and -13 R.
Even though they had some crazy offset (rear mainly) I still went ahead and made them fit… I was running max stock negative camber up front (about -5) and customized the rear upper control arms to run about twice that (-9 or so)….

After running this setup for not even two weeks and damn near destroying my oil pan an tranny and flatting my whole exhaust, I said screw this an sold the wheels and starting looking for some 16’s, but I will admit it did look so such in person.
After cruising craigslist and other forums I decided to go witg some new 16x9 +15 ccw reps. (I know I know didn’t exactly have the funds for true 3-piece like I wanted) Test fit showed they were going to be about the perfect fitment.
After they were mounted up on 195/45 yokohama s-drives, put them on the car and I was quite happy with the outcome...
After about a month of riding like this I ended up upgrading the shocks and getting some sorter/ stiffer springs, I also raised the rear a tad just to give it an even looking rake, and ended up picking up a Nikon dslr camera (no more cell phone / instagram pics)
And I finally got the last piece of the puzzle my custom made front lip…

An that's what its looked like for the past few months, I've got a few ideas for next years setup hopefully wider legit wheels, slightly lower all around and a clean paint job...
Let me know what you guys think!!
