  • Beware The Rategra...!

Im hoping the title will lure you into opening this thread and following along as i embark on what's going to be quite a long journey of reviving a vehicle that was considered dead by many. All that aside i recently picked up a clean 97 integra ls shell for the astounding price of $150.00 U.S dollars. Please my friends don't hit that back button just yet for i have just begun. To say the car was stripped would be an understatement. No suspension, no seats, console, glove box, cluster, front clip, rear bumper, etc, etc... But the only thing that drawed my attention to this hunk of twisted steel was the fact there was not one spot of rust throughout the entire car. Loading it was a task and a half but ive spoken far too much. Enjoy these pics and please go easy on me guys.

What she used to look like.

How she looked when i picked her up....

Suspension in the front was missing when i got there....... So i dragged it on the trailer with a chain hoist by hand. Upon further inspection of what was left of the front end both rails are bent in two different places towards the passenger side and the firewall is splitting around the door hinges.... So my plans were to scrap it but its clean and i really like it so an idea popped in my head( with help and ideas from a friends rat eg hatch "the ratback") i decided to bring new life into this piece. First thing here soon will be suspension so i can at least get it off the trailer without too much work.. Then the front must go and shall be replaced by this(which im already in the process of ordering)

So far ive started removing everything from the engine bay er whats left of it. Wiring, brackets, brake lines and such and etc blah blah blah... Previous owner told me it had a rebuilt title however the title says normal and i did a history check and its never been reported so thats a plus. Please bear with me fellow stancers and stay tuned with this build for updates everyday my laptop is poop and takes about 4 hours to upload pics so i will get this as soon as i can. Off to work on this beast some more!

All I can think of when I look at this is.. Some guy wrecked it, pulled all the parts he could sell, made a decent profit, then even got you to pay him for the shell, and now you're going to put money into putting parts into it that he sold. Cute lil back and forth thing going on. Either way, good luck with it, not like any of my cars ever made me any money!

              Bumping an old-ass thread.
What ever happened to this? I remember reading this thread when it was originally posted. Did you give up on the project?
