M70 v12 and no it doesn't bolt on. It has gone through quite a bit of custom fan to get it to work.

SO today I finished the wiring including the electric fan, the car fires, idles and revs. The Boot I found is off an E12 I found at the junk yard. Oddly enough the m30 that is in the m12 uses a smaller version of he m30 afm; alomost exactly like the m20 afm. Though it uses a m30 afm sized air box. So it was PERFECT for going from the 325i throttle body to the m30 afm. Plus it is 1/4 inch thick plastic so no need for the mount I made for the afm. Since the wiring is all in car I had to extent the coil pos/neg. The coil is now located up behind the pass. headlight cover. So this photo is the car in driving trim sans two cooling hoses. Still trying to find out what hoses to use for the m42 swap. So check it out. Here is how she will look going down the road. Hope y'all like.

well I'm sure a lot of people thought this was dead but I have just been busy with a few other things. E46 is done and ready for 12hr Sebring this march. I also picked up a new daily (more to come of that build soon but its been consuming all my time and money. 80% of the car has changed since I bought it). Wiring wiring wiring, almost ready to start. Wont crank because like an idiot I cut the neutral safety crap without even thinking about it, now I'm undoing the harness to find it all. Roof is finished, its officially a slicktop. AFM bracket is done. Last but not least a little sneak peak of whats to come.

no its the AC workshop at my office. Its where I do dry work like wiring. plastics are to keep the air in. but there is a garage door. E46 is M50B28 Turbo swapped with a ZF trans and a diffs online built 3.15. 500hp 490ftlbs.
