So my relationship with ford probes started back in high school. It was my first. It was an auto and it was slow. I didn't want it originally but through and accident I became emotionally attached to the car. That story can be read here
Well not to long after that, the probe that I loved so much and had "big" plans for got totaled. I was rear ended at a stop light.
The hunt began for a new car, I wanted a black probe with black interior. My budget was 2600.
All the cars that had black interior had the cracked dash mod so I ended up settling for grey interior. This is the car the day I got it

I had coilovers and the cobra reps from my first probe so I got crackin and swapped the parts over. This is the night I got it done at a local meet

I was happy. Then I heard about this thing called import alliance...all my friends were in a rush to get a few more mods done for ia so I joined in. I added a mustang Mach 1 lip, it was used and beat to hell so I decided to channel my inner drifter and get to work with the zip ties

Then I thought I was happy....but with two weeks til ia I decided I wasn't low enough and ordered some ksport springs to replace the springs my yonaka coils came with. This was my fender to ground for ia 2 years ago. It was like 24 1/4" before

So then the car stayed the same for a while. I didn't really do many things until this past winter to get the car ready for water by the bridge in louisville ky (hometown)
I put in new carpet, bride seats, dyed the headliner and put in an nrg shift knob

I also bought a new Mach 1 lip and painted my bumper, hood, head light covers and put in euro bumper lights with the clear lens.

It turned out pretty good for my first time painting but there was dirt in it so I got to wet sanding and after two days and a few beers it came out lookin like glass

The next weekend my friend Aaron long wanted to shoot the car so we went out and found some cool spots around town

Then it was time for water by the bridge
I was excited to show off my hard work over the winter

Next up was import alliance in Sparta ky, the car didn't change much at all for that show. Here is a roller on the way

The hotel line up

At the meet

Then after ia I decided I wanted better fitment and more legit wheels. I decided to get klutch sl5's

Test fitted them and learned that I completely mid calculated my front offset so I took them down to the machine shop and then mill the back pad down 10mm
Here is the rear test fit

At this point I was concerned. It was a lot mor aggressive than I had originally intended. Oh well, time for tires. 205/40's were the tire size of choice

Got the tires mounted at 2pm, dropped then off at the house and worked 3pm-11pm then went home and put them on! Ran to the gas station and snapped this

Car was super dirty but I was stoked. Went home and went to bed to prepare for a 10a-10p the next day.
After work I washed the car and took these

And that's how the car sits as of yesterday. This weekend has been great getting new wheels and completed changing the look on the car.
I realized that I forgot to mention the under hood mods. The car isn't just suspension and wheels.
The engine is a hybrid kl
It has a klg4(last and strongest version of the kl engine) bottom end, klde(standard v6 in probe/mx6) heads and a gutted klg4 intake manifold.
65mm knife edged throttle body
Heads and intake port matched
Maf swap from a millenia
Stage 3 clutch
7lb flywheel
2.5" mandrel bent exhaust (no cat)
Hot shot headers
Hot shot ram air intake
Poly trans and rear motor mount
07 ford fusion front brakes
I have klze(jdm) cams waiting to go in as well as a spare engine that I'm going to start tearing into for a vitara build and boost.
Thanks for reading! I'll try and update the first post as long as possible
