13s would look the best IMO on 15s you would end up running something like a 195/50 and that is just not enough tire sidewall for an old school ride like yours

I love the old school JDM look. Im mos def not gonna do 15's. It's a toss up between 13's and 14's. But I just ordered some 13x8's et-38 in the aeros for a test fit this weekend so we will see what happens. If I can go wider you will mos def see some 13x10's promise!!

These cars look so great with wide dished out slot mags, "jelly beans"<- (for you old schoolers), can be found super cheap and almost every wheel company makes a version of them.

I like the idea of sourcing Ebay for some old school wheels.
I don't think you should mess with any diamonds or aero, not that they are bad wheels,
just real played out imo. Negative offset 15x8 w/ 195/50R15 is also a good option.

Be sure to check tire size avalibility also, not a huge selection in 13s and 14s.

OH SHOOOT!!! It's like Christmas!!! I got some goodies in the mail!

                        [IMG][/IMG]

The previous owner slammed the front end on the old blown out shocks and cut way too many coils off the springs. So the springs are brand new for a 1982 Ford Courier. They are a direct replacement for the stock Toyota spring but much thicker. (Just an FYI)

I have a 1981 corolla lift back that is my daily right now I have 15x8s on some knock off wheels, cant afford 1500 for ssr stars sharks eh. I am running 205/50 really big I know and the springs are chopped abit too.

This Saturday I am going to get some 195/45s, hoping it sits nice ive seen a few corollas with them.

Man its always good to here about another classic toyo. And I feel you brother, 1500 buck can be alot to shell out at times. Those 195/45 are gonna look nice bro. Do you have a build thread?

I do, but I haven't really done much for the car in a while. All the parts I want to buy are abit out of my price range. Right now I have been trying to clean up the engine bay, got rid of the huge air filter set up but nothing really big. Threw some gauges in the old console.

Just sold my bike so I am hoping that i can also get a 32/36 webber maybe. It has the 3tc/1.8 motor too so its pretty much a tank you could say. Never breaks down or has any problems.
