  • Triumph TR7

    Hey guys,

I bought this car a year ago and have been messing with it every once and a while. Its a 1977 TR7 with an awesome red tartan interior. I tried to save the 2.0L and LT77, but figured the best I could get out of it would be 120hp and I would have to rebuild everything. Before I ditched the stock motor, I cast a Pair of throttle bodies for it, thinking I would run it on a megasquirt I. I now have another engine in mind and will post about that later.

You cast your own throttle bodies?!?!?

This has loads of potential, already sitting quite nicely... make the wedge look good

I bought a 70,000mi 3.4l 60degree v6 from a 95 camaro for 200 off craigslist and a clapped out t5 from ebay. My plan is to use 2jz ct12b's, and build a manifold for my throttle bodies. at 160hp and 200ft-lbs stock, its already twice the power as the tr7 lump.

I've been hoping somebody would build a tr7.
I'm very happy it's you taking on the challenge.
                              Sub'd.
