Had a bracket snap off that held the rear brake line in place - not too bad to replace, but it sounds like a good stopping point to get the truck off the road, get the rest of my needed parts, and start chopping and painting some more.

Next steps are spacers, flaring the wheel-wells further, removing the inner fenders, dehumping the LCAs and welding on the rollpan along with frenching in the plate.

I am pulling all of the fake plastic split rim studs and tapping the holes for M6 button head bolts.

Ok, now, go buy a 49-54 1/2 ton chevy, and swap that shell onto your set up!

      Also: Truck is on point.

Looks sick!! You ever think of doing a mild body drop? To get the pinch lower to the ground or even just make the pinch even with the frame?

          Thanks!

I've considered it, and it'll be in the garage for the winter, painfully close to the welder, but I just don't see it being worth the effort.

I really want to make this thing look like the picture in my head I have had for awhile, and then get something different and fun.

Love it all. Especially for going with the different wheel choice. Different doesn't always mean better but in this situation you hit the point. Looks great man.

Thanks guys, I've been accumulating parts for ages to finish it off. I've got a bench seat to recover in black perforated instead of the "race" buckets that are in there now, new tires to go on that'll stop rubbing the rear fenders, a kicker cvr10 and amp waiting to be installed, and factory style fender flares to smooth down and paint for a molded on look.

I'm doing the lip as if these were reverse mounted faces, with black bolts.
