I bought this car last year. completely stock, all original, the interior was covered in plastic protectors for seats and everything. it's literally mint! first step was putting coilovers on. and that was the first step

so this is how it looked for a while. it had a 1.8 8v in it. slow as hell but fun to drive!
then the tranny had some kind of problem, so i swapped in a 1.6td in the car, bought new wheels and this is how she sits today!

    during the swap.

    first night we started it.

and how she sits as of today

Yes! the colour was indeed available in the US! it's called calypso green, not too sure about the code but i know i have it somewhere. not a lot of them were made though! and most of them now have more of a silvery colour.

yeah the rear actually came down! the coilovers were not set in the pictures, it came down about an inch. since summer is pretty much over i'm driving it everyday but next month it's going in the garage and i'll cut the fenders and get smaller tires with a rear camber kit. so it's going down for next summer!

the only thing i would do is cut your fenders, you won't need more camber in the rear it looks pretty good already...to much camber on a mk2 looks aweful
