I know this is Stance Works, not B I C Y C Y C L E | W O R K S but I figure there'd be some people interested in this. If not, the mods can delete this and publicly shame me.
A friend(Nick475 on here) put up his once project bike for sale or trade, and one drift RC car later I had my bike! Now though this was essentially ready to ride, the seat made me sore after 2 seconds of riding, the grips were falling off and the seat didn't stay in the right position.
Some pics of the night I got her.
I wanted to get it ready to ride around at H2o, so first things first, the seat. I added some cushioning and wrapped it in the terrible fabric that will be replaced with black pleather I have stored away. Ratchet Fab all the way.
I then found the other set issue: the banana seat post is made for a smaller diameter mainshaft on the bike. I have a temporary solution, but the long term is just find the right sized piece.
Went through some of the parts that came with it, found the old chainguard and re-attached it.
Both of the handle grips are cracked in half essentially, so I think I'm going to get some tennis-handle wrap and just wrap the bars in that. That's it for now, but I'll keep the updates going.
