      Thanks for the input.

I am aware of the falken 912 and 452 , a local tire shop who stretches was nice enough to stretch each of those tires and the nexen n3000 on my wheels. in the end i chose the n3000 based on stretch profile and price ($600 including m+b) . I ask the people of stanceworks to prove me wrong but the smallest i can find out of a Canadian warehouse is 195/40/R17.

Now i've looked at buying smaller tires off ebay or through american warehouses, let's take for example Nankang's 185/35/R17 which roughly retails for $200 a tire. let's say this includes shipping but i will still have to pay brokerage at $25 a tire. so that totals up at ~$900.

alternately lets say instead i widen my wheels by an inch front and rear, with shipping i can get 4 - 3" outer lips from Kodiak Racing for $1100.

To me, spending the extra $200 upfront for new lips is more sensible since i'll be able to recoup more of my money when i sell the wheels, and for the most part outer lips aren't consumables like tires.

That's my personal opinion on wheels and tires though

Thanks for your suggestion, their prices are definitely reasonable

          Sub'd!

I've always wanted an EG like this ever since highschool back home and I got to drive buddy's. But now here in Calgary its too common. When I got my Mazda 323 winter beater, it was a nice change. The looks have grown on me except for those hideous north american bumpers that sticks out way too much.

Took the old girl out for one more put before the dreaded first snowfall of the year (sigh) and took some photos along the way.

The wheels have been pulled and the old girl is about to get winterized (fresh fluids), now i just need to find a garage/shop to rent for the winter so i can continue the quest for my definition of perfect form over function...... and some body work lol
