Nice. I've been looking into A31s since they're legal to import in the U.S. now. I like this a lot

I love everything but the wing! But hey to each there own! I think a low pro s14 wing would look sweet. The ones that are like 2 inches about the boot lid. Either way awesome build(s) dude.

For some reason, all my picture links had died - have gone back through and sorted some out!

Anyway, havent really done to much around the place, but kinda worthy of an update - I tell myself that anyway.

              For the laurel;

I have had a few teething issues, injector one stuck open, two gaskets used on exhaust side rather than one, turbo worked itself loose on the manifold, the dump hits the firewall by a smidge when giving it the beans in first, turbo oil feed return line leak thanks to ancient crush washer amongst other small issues.

So basically, turbo side of the car was being a complete knob, so this had to happen. was easier to pull turbo off and sort everything out and do it at once!

Gave the block a good clean down and tidy up, the oil leak had taken its toll - a mate has been actually using this car so its actually had the time and use to leak properly.

now; to deal with the loose turbo, I have taken everyhting apart, new hardware, spring washers, locking nuts, etc.

To deal with the oil leaks, new crush washers and banjo bolts.

To deal with the manifold hitting firewall, ordered cusco mounts for S13, they sit nearly an inch lower, should give me the clearance i need, they barely touch as is but to be safe i better change.

As you can see, its all pretty ratty looking so i got around to tidying it up; first the dump, then the turbo, gave the manifold a quick clean then called it a day. I will assemble it all up midweek or next weekend, and hopefully the mounts arrive this week and drop it all together again!

And for the cefiro - I will post photos in a little, I have bought some new steers! the 18 x 9.5 +12's are just to aggressive and large and I wanted to put my new mint guards on and get them rolled properly and not so dodgily just to clean up the front end a bit...

Ordered some gramlight 57d's - same style as the 18's - but in 17 x 9 +12 for that good staggered fitment.

Should sit nicely on a 17/18 stagger! the rims need powdercoating and tyres, but hopefully thats this week to!

Right, last weekend was such a mission. and this thread is digressing into including both my cars; for those that actually like the cefiro, there will be work on it one day again soon.

But, it did get all cleaned up ready for this weekends attack.

Sadly, cannot get new banjo bolts - or crush washers in the right size it seems so im writing this as im waiting for my oven to heat to melt down the current crush washers to original size. fun stuff.

I firstly ordered some new engine mounts, as the originals were a bit dirty and pretty sure just flapping in the breeze like the rest of the setup as they were not even bolted down underneath and i wanted solids as im very close to firewall with the dump so less movement = best.

                so these appeared!

                Cusco solid mounts.

now in comparison to the originals they aernt that different, however I was told these sat the engine lower than stock ones - but since putting them in I am not convinced, but shall see once the dump pipe is back on I suppose.

and in they went! easy as undoinging original bolts, jacking up engine from underneath - please put a piece of wood or something on the sump if you so desire to go from there, dont put metal on metal that should be just common sense.

Exhaust side i actually took the whole engine bracket off also as it was just easier to do that without anything left on that side due to everything being removed, intake side was about 8/10 gayness due to everything being in the road of what i needed to get at but eventually its all done up and tight.

will have more later today after I get these crush washers and manifold + turbo + dump all back on properly!
