    Why do you Aussies get all the cool cars? Oh yeah! Now I remember. Stupid hippy fucking tree hugging California is why. Carry on sir. In for more.

    started a topic A31 Cefiro - Boost is best.

    A31 Cefiro - Boost is best.

    So I had another thread that was to my old car, so I better make a seperate for this one, it's easier to keep track of everything then!

    I used to own this beast;

    However have since upgraded to another car, guess I had better have the story telling part;

    So about a week and a half ago, it was wednesday, my mate and I started the hour and a bit trip to the coast and we left early to avoid traffic, but this knob end thought they would crash and end up facing the wrong way in the middle of the road and generally fuck up out plans.

    Anyway, after being delayed for a little bit, we were back on our way!

    So we drove down, got stuck in what we thought was ANOTHER crash or roadworks, so we took a slight detour a few exits early and made our way down.

    We got lost, obviously. nothing like a bit of getting lost nonsense, then arrived to be greeted by this;

    It looked the part from the front and back.

    The inside was no exception, this thing was SPOTLESS. the only thing missing was the centre vent where the dash is, however, he has that sitting in the boot all wrapped up if I didn't want the gauges.

    And then, now this is the best part. Usually these have a boring rb20de nonsense, no turbo, sluggish, boring. this one however has a fresh(ish) rebuilt rb25det running 11psi boost, i will post mods list below.

    And so with all that seen, a good talk, I got in had a fang around - not sure why it looks like im in oncoming traffic, I think im just going around a round about or something haha.

    But yeah, holy dam; my first turbo car I have properly looked at seriously and it did not disappoint.

    So after the deal I'm getting it with basically everything EXCEPT the plates - I wasn't a fan of ILE57 plates but he loves them, been on his previous few cars so he was happy to keep them.

    Mods list is as follows;

    Nissan Cefiro A31 1989
    RB25DET Series 2 late model
    Rebuilt in Adelaide, have papers from previous owner with dates and specs
    Serviced every 5000km with Penrite Oil
    Reconditioned RB20 gearbox
    Heavy Duty Clutch, plenty of meat
    Boost Tee running 10pound
    GTR BOV
    GTR intercooler
    Walbro Fuel pump
    HKS Mushroom Air filter
    Air con will work, all that is needed is air con belt
    No Hicas
    Standard LSD
    HIDs
    Yellow fog lights
    1 Piece dump to cat 3 inch
    Full interior
    R32 GTST front seats
    Floor mats
    Left air vent is intact
    Boost, Oil Press, Water Temp Drift gauges in middle vents
    Trust Gear knob
    Weather Shields
    Kenwood Head unit
    Genuine Nardi
    Wheels – Cosmis Mogul VCP-S5R (Concave Wheel) 17 x 9 +22 Offset 17 x 10 +22 Offset
    15mm Bolt on KTS spacers on front, Steel wheel nuts.
    Brakes – 5 Stud R33 callipers and hubs front and rear
    Suspension – D2 racing Coil overs 12kg fronts and 10kg rear
    GKtech rear castor rods, JJR rear camber arms and extra lock washers.
    Autech full Kit, Fiberglass.
    Aerial works
    35% Suntek tint which is legal
    Full Alarm and Central Locking
    Cusco Oil Catch can
    Oil cooler with braided lines

    Anyway, so only had this for a week and have pulled out the speakers, 4x6's in the fronts and I think 5's in the parcel shelf, going to add a sub along with new speakers and an amp, probably a new head unit. Just so its a bit more modern and what not.

    Picked up a new intake as well! I really **** the stock RB intake.

    And a parting shot;

    So this should hopefully be a good bit of fun this car! it has been the couple times I have driven it so far, I need to get rego again, then, I can drive it more! woo.
