That said, stay tuned for poly-bushing, solid mounts and engine work in the future.

        Soooooo.

I fitted a Bahn Brenner front engine mount. Cool.

Three days later spun the big ends and ruined the crank. Not cool.

Currently in the process op building/swapping in a fully rebuilt ARP'd 2.0L bottom end and flowed head. Hoping for at least 170bhp and 150lb/ft.

        Yolo

Jeez didn't realise i hadn't updated this since the engine build.

It's been together since before christmas and after a few thousand gentle miles running it in i took it to get tuned.

                made 175bhp @ 6591rpm and 148ft/lb @ 5584rpm

I then fitted front and rear roll/sway bars by ST Suspensions, and some camber plates from eBay which I've used to increase the castor angle for more front end grip mid-corner.

My gear change was a bit sloppy cause of the worn old bushes, so i looked for a linkage kit similar to the USRT Smartshift stuff. I thought it looked simple enough to make so had a crack at fabricating one out of stainless steel.

It worked. (still need to get the weight turned on a lathe) Heres a shitty 'gram pic.

Oh I lowered it too. Heres more iPhone pics.
