Some people may have seen the car around here, but I've never really chronicled my progress....
now that I am getting deeper and deeper into it I feel like I need to start documenting it a bit more.
GOALS.
cut things
weld things
make things
go fast
break stuff
learn how to fix stuff
have fun
have fun
have fun
ACCOMPLISHED
break stuff.
Starting at the beginning. I bought this car from a bud, who had been t boned by some bend hippie. driving a subaru, petting their dog.

Even though I intended to hammer on the car, I wanted to take on the challenge of body panel replacement, with hardly any body skills what so ever.

ended up getting it looking okay, in my opinion. and then painted it for 10 dollars in my back yard.

... Then I started smashing on it. alot.

Tried driving it to stancewars. Yea that didn't work out very well...
wheel fell of a block from my house, fuel pump started dying on top of a mountain. bought a new one it killed itself, basically the engine was just too tired at this point. although it looked pretty cool!

So Enter the zander zone. I got in touch with Kurt Robertson Mazda, we talked and decided he would help back the car, so he built me this a few weeks ago.

But I ended up re painting the bay...

got it running tonight...
And that is where I am at... Tomorrow I am going to time it in, tune the carb settings, touch up some paint work, throw in a new rear end, and rear tophats, undercoat the interior floor, as it's all been stripped down, then take her out on the country side for a break in.
Thanks for viewing boys, and girls. More to come!
Little video action for you dudes.
