2013 Impreza Sport (not a WRX)

Ive always wanted to do one of these so I guess Ill start from the top. This is my second Subaru and my 11th car. My previous car was a Evo X which I traded in because my 80 mile round trip commute was killing me in gas. I really like this little car for what it is and am very happy with my purchase even tho its slow in comparison to my Evo.

First off to build some street cred heres a few of my past vehicles




So I picked this impreza up with plans of it being a commuter car that I could share with my wife. I picked up the CVT option and am not disappointed it has enough power to drive around town but is no race car.

The day I got the car and my Evo X it replaced


First thing first was I didnt see the point in paying the 4k upgrade for fake leather and cheap navi system when I can use my phone. Audio was terrible and I was having blue tooth connectivity issues so I upgraded to this pioneer unit and a small infinity sub.

Test fitted my new wheels today

Varrosten 2.2.1 18x9.5 +34

The car will be going to tanabe for R&D on monday hopefully to get another suspension set up made for our vehicles. So please forgive the height it looks ridiculous right now but will be lowered/slammed soon.:

So where did i leave off basically Tanabe kept my car for a whole week and didnt do anything

They fed me some story saying that the coilovers they test fitted on my car did not have brake line mounts so they couldnt use it on my car

I then purchased a set of 08 WRX coilovers from my buddies car and installed them on mine perfect fit



I then mounted the Varosten 2.2.1 18x9.5 +34 with 235/40/18 tires

The car did not make it out of the drive way and ended up chewing up my fenders

While waiting for my appointment to get my fenders rolled I had a factory rear wing installed from the dealer


Then had the fenders rolled so i could drive around with the wheels




And this is how the vehicle sits today

Before subiefest the car will get new BC extreme low coilovers and 18x9.5 WCI cc10's that are on their way

Looks great man, these non wrx/sti imprezas can be really fun cars, and are really classy looking. Those wheels are a trip too, nice work.

Do you workout at the 24 Hour Fitness in City of Industry/Walnut (socal)? I saw a car that looked exactly like this parked out front once. I had to stop and admire it for like 10 minutes before going into the gym LOL. 08 Impreza coils fit without any mods? I've been thinking of getting one as a daily driver, but I'm afraid the 2.0 is too slow. I wish subaru kept the 2.5.

Car is slow above 60 but from a dig is nice and quick but nothing compared to my X

I wish it was a 2.5 too Ikinda not regret getting a jetta sport wagen lol
