yeah that winter storm thing fucking sucked here in ontario. buffalo got pretty fucked up, too.
we were on the very edge of it we didnt get it horrible but we dont usually get snow here till december. its been more than a week and we still have snow and ice in even the areas that see traffic most haha.
glad i dont drive my car during this, i did one winter and never ever ever again
yeah im gonna try and buy some cheap 4x4 pickup for work so i can give this car alittle break. dont need anything fancy. ha
love your car always loved the hatches I cut 2inches out of a set of knuckles for my buddy once but he was aired. as long as you your a good welder I say go for it. the trick for welding cast is to heat it up before you weld it make it glow then lay your bead then cool it down slowly worked great for his car drove it across country twice never had any issues
we got a good minitruck guy out here in the area. he does and has built alot of fab stuff and its all held up. might possibly have em do my rear tubs so i can fit anything i want in the future as well. i was told 2 inches on the knuckles cut and reweld would give me what i want. plus lowering forks as well then i can raise my suspension and still have that sexy drop with all the nice shock travel. it sucks driving bottomed out like i am now. Im taking off the racing harts and rocking steelies for rest of winter cause i want to start saving and ordering up everything.
