  • Something Different, Dodge This

Hey guys, my names Ben. My coworker MrDanGuy introduced me to this site a few months back so i figured id finally post my current build. This is being done under a tight budget and also my daily year round.

I got a 2002 Dodge Stratus that i got 2 years ago and finally getting around to working on her

The day i brought it home

Lowered it on some Eibach Springs

Always liked this picture even tho its awful quality

Got some Drag Rims (all i could afford at the time) 19x8.5 et32 with 235/35/19s

Few shots of them on the car

That wheel gap... needs to be gone

Then my valve gaskets started to piss oil so i took this as an opportunity to do a good tune up along with engine bay cleaning

    MrDanGuy helping out

Nice and clean ish... hopefully gonna do some more this weekend

Plans in near future include BC Coils in the spring along with some new rims, havnt decided what size or anything yet. Give me your guy's inputs! Thanks

19s will look good on this if youre planning to be super low. and i would stay with that same sporty style wheel, but just get legit ones and not reps

MrDanguy is just jealous... and i agree, this rims will work for now

Anyways this car was in an accident before i bought it and whoever did the work did a god awful job, here are some pictures to show you what i mean, the color in my engine bay doesn't match my bumper... and my bumper, hood, and driver fender are all a different shade than the rest of my car, looking to get repainted soon. Gonna redo the engine bay portion though soon.

Great welds... causes my bumper and hood to have about a 1/2in gap

Also replaced a trans mount today, shifts so much cleaner!

Then got around to cleaning it up, touch up paint, black revival, quick wax job
                Took a few shots afterwards

Notice the color difference in the fender... >

Will be out at MrDanGuys house tomorrow doing a vaccum delete, some wire tucking, and A/C delete (compressor leaks, just easier) also might get started on the radiator support!

Well its been a while since i've updated this, car actually has been sitting for a few years and i finally got around to getting it running again. Over the time it was sitting i started to horde some parts for when it did get on the road and finally got everything i needed and put it on this weekend!

Wheels are just my same Drag wheels just repainted white, hoping to get some real wheels sometime this summer or for next year but these will do for now.
Along with some BC Extreme Drop coils.

The Brembos are used from a Evo 9

And here is the end result!

The front needs to be adjusted, gonna hopefully be around an inch lower, also will need wheel spacers since the front calipers hit the wheel, right now just have spacers there that we had laying around. Ordering some new ones for rears too today hopefully along with rear camber kit, to much for me. Thanks for looking and let me know what you guys think!

DUUUUDE....This is awesome. I had a friend that had a Stratus when we were in High School, he loved that thing to death, still talks about it all the time. I'll have to show him this thread.

Anyway, down to see what goes on with this. Consider me sub'd.
