Ok so its been a while since I updated this thread of shame. We last left off with a welded diff about to go in.
    Untitled
    Untitled

Open 2.73 out ready for a welded 3.73
    Untitled

    welded diff all bolted up
    Untitled

On the ground ready for sideways action
    Untitled

    Stock pile of tires
    Untitled

So.... the welded diff was amazing the high gear ration and 100% lock up was super fun yes it was annoying working downtown Seattle and pulling into parking garages sounding like Joe Dirt. I decided to eventually go back to the open diff after I shredded an axle and had to limp the car home 30 miles. After being bummed out I decided a new project was to come.

You guessed it I picked up "i" motor with a blown head gasket to rebuild and possibly turbo eventually....
Tear down took place that night
    Untitled

Dunno how a bottle of lube ended up under the engine???
    Untitled

Still waiting to send parts to get machined because I don't know if i want to build a stroker m20 and if the compression ratio will work for boost. The rest of the pictures are just randoms of stuff I've bought and Kodiak moments.

So I fixed the busted hose in a parking lot yolo! While I was working I kept seeing a bunch of modified cars going by. So I ran up and asked a guy in a slammed Taurus wagon wagon and turns out it was some crazy flash mob car meet. It was super cool there was everyone there low riders, stanced cars, imports, euros, off road trucks etc.

As for future plans here's the list
    • Exhaust
    • Coils of some sort for more lows
    • Custom splitter
    • Custom diffuser
    • Custom spoiler
    • Better seats really want some status racing seats
    • New steering wheel
    • Semi shaved pornstar bay
    • Engine??? Maybe idk what to do with that exactly it will cost a lot to do it right

What color should I do my 15s?

Update time!!! Well bad news the car currently out of commission... I was playing in the rain trying to be badass and the car started leaking coolant. Luckily only the lower radiator hose had a giant gouge in it because the alternator pulley made contact with the hose. She should be up and running by Monday.

In other news I do have a hint for whats in store. Drum roll please.

At work we got our first batch of 3 Series GT's in. Somebody needs to stance on of these babies ASAP

Furthermore since the shoes were a big hit some more car related clothing.
P.S. I'm not that big of D Bag to buy all these overpriced bmw attire for my shitty 28 year old rinky dinky willy wonka race car BMW. I get discount at work so why not.

Thanks I try my best. It's hard when you fix one thing and two thing break.

The engine is chipped which adds like 50hp Jk I'm not really sure a chip counts. But the car has a lightened jb racing flywheel. It must do something because there is no way I should be able to beat some e46s but I have. I'm looking to lower the car a bit more not to much because I love to rail corners and smash around. Just haven't decided on the right avenue yet. Will post a future plan list here after work.

Being a tech at 22yrs old has it perks, pros and cons like any other job. But I have to admit working on cars is a passion and I enjoy it very much. However, I hope to get out of the business in the future before I begin to develop a **** toward working on cars - like many techs who have been in the business way too long.
Yep it's Woodcliff is it cool there I've never been. Never been to east coast either. I love working on cars too but I've seen our customers and I'm not sure I want to fix cars in that environment you know?

At least it's something cool. There was red and black two tone 02 there the other night.
