  • My SC300 build

So I got the deal hammered out to trade my Cressida for a 1994 Lexus SC300. It comes with Lexus IS300 17x7 wheels, Tein coilovers and needs a good bit of TLC. Now on to the pictures
Here are the pictures the PO sent me, I will be grabbing some new ones when I pick up the car

The planned new wheels, BMW Style 95's (Thanks Blake!) in 19x10 +24 with 32mm spacers/adators so effective offset will be -8 (once again, thanks Blake)

This is what it should look like

Plans are to throw some inexpensive 225/35/19's which should give me this look for the stretch

And I will be throwing this front lip on at some point

Going to throw an S14 Rocket Bunny spoiler on it

Also going to swap an R154 into the car as well a 57 trim turbo kit hopefully this winter. This car will spend a good amount of time sideways so expect to see a fair number of track pics in this thread. Feel free to throw out ideas or suggestions
Here is how I would like the car to sit on the new wheels

After seeing your cressida, this seems promising. Gratz on the trade!

I love dished wheels but for some reason I have always loved those BMW wheels and now I have something that I can try them on, we will have to see how it looks. Worse case, I dont like them and sell them for close to what I will be into them

Thanks man, I really wish I could have gotten farther on the Cressida but it just fought me at every turn. Overall it was a fun chassis to play with and I dig the look of it as it sits but the SC should be a ton of fun to work on as well and I have a few tricks up my sleeve that I learned on the Cressida that we may end up seeing on the SC

my only suggestion is do not go with that Wise front lip. it's gonna explode if your height sits anywhere close to similar to that silver sc you posted.

              GL with the build..

Oh and like that front lip, mine has the stock one just sprayed up body colour, makes such a difference, but that lip is sex.

Thanks man, I was worried about that lip getting busted up but unless I can find a 97+ front bumper locally for a decent price that is pretty much my option. Sick SC BTW I will be PM'ing you with some questions here in the next week or two

Thanks and thanks! I love the look of the lip but the car will be pretty low so we will see how long it lasts LOL. On a seperate note I have added an S14 Rocket Bunny wing to the "to be bought" list so that should help dress up the back of the car

Wow, that would be cool. Wonder how well they fit?

It takes a bit of sanding but they fit very well, I added pics of it to the first post

Thanks man, glad to see ya in here. I have looking at your old build for some ideas as well as quite a few other builds on here as well as on clublexus. I am excited to get going on it and see what the direction of the build ends up being. I
Found a few different options for wheels so I may end up rocking some Varrstoen wheels in either 19x9.5 or 19x10.5, the offsets are a bit better and I would not have to rock an adapter. If I stumble across some style 95's in 10" for a good deal I would love to try them out but we will see what happens. Who knows, for as much as I like the small wheel look I may end up bucking the large wheel theme that all SC's seem to have and go for something significantly smaller......
