Been working on this car for a little bit. Air suspension just came in today so I figured I'd post some pics and start the build thread. Plans are to lay pinch welds. Does anyone know where to find drop forks? Maybe some insight on how to mod the rear LCA to go lower?
    I'll try to update often.

Car was purchased with the front smashed and a decent amount of bad bondo work. Its coming together slowly but surely. Thanks!!

Looks good so far man. Can't wait to see more always had a soft spot for Del Sols, seeing how I could fit my fishing rods inside with out taking them apart.

Do you plan on paint it a color other than flat black?!?

Its going to be satin black until I finish all the body work then I might give it the rat rod rust look. Not sure yet. I'm trying to get it to lay on the pinch weld which is going to be a bit of a task. After the air is in, spikes everywhere. I know that sounds a bit silly but I want spike lugs, curb feelers, spikes on the washer nozzles. Not sure if I want to keep these rims though, I'm thinking some nice reversed old school looking smoothies?

Running 4" cylinders in the front and 3" in the rear. Little Larry's manual valve block.

Front cylinders in and I still want another 1 -2" when fully down. Looking for those drop forks. Rear setup should be delivered later this week.

You shouldn't need drop forks. Plenty of people pretty much lay pinch welds while static. Also they are near impossible to find. The are just not worth it in my opinion. Especially if you are on air.

Why would you want to mod the rear LCA to go lower? The EG chassis cars are cake to lay frame.

I have to see when the rear goes in how low it goes. I need an extra 1-2 inches up front to lay the pinch.

Yes they are resting on the towers now. Either I cut the towers or modify the forks...I think that's my only option. I'm a mini truck guy, these cars are new to me lol.

^ I may be going that route. First I have to do some shaving as the front air cylinders are taking a bit of a beating. Might you know if there is a tower mod write up? I'd like to research it a bit before I get cut happy.

never seen a write up. basically cut room enough for them then cap them off.
