Thats pretty much where I'm at. I tried unbolting the control arm but the bring stayed in there curved like a banana, getting that back in freaked me out enough. Theres not much room between coils when the cars on jacks, seems pretty sketchy. I guess I'm holding you liable if anything goes wrong haha. Ill try and get my hands on a mb spring compressor so I don't kill myself, but my patience is running out.

yeah don't fuck around man! Its not worth it! We have a shop and almost knew what we were getting into! So plz don't cut without proper equipment lol! The second spring was super scary lol!


Try and find a local shop that might let you rent theirs out or something....

Any klan style compressor will work do not use the hook style... Ask me how I know haha

This cars been on hold. But we did finally gett around to chop the rear springs! We will move on and get smaller rear tires soon!





After the rear tires.... Ill see if we have to cut another half coil! lol

I work for my own cousin its his shop! Its a Shell Service station.... He is certified and we do all major repairs... Including tires! You should stop by ill hook you up on what ever parts you need we can order! Text me and ill give you the info.. For now I only work Saturdays...

No I was surprised its stiff still! lol I think it has different springs then the 300 I assume they compensated the weight of the v8! And yes it works for now, I am in los gatos maybe ill run into you one day... lol

Do these have the 300E style struts, or the 4 Matic style struts? I've been thinking about picking one up, and I have some E36 Racelands laying around, but they won't work on my 4 Matic 124. My understanding is they will work on regular 300Es though.

Yeah they work on the 300 style ones. Theres a thread on it... To tell you the truth I am not sure at the moment what it has..... Its been a few weeks since we had her in the air I can barely recall yesterday lol
