This is what the Subaru's turbo looks like. I took this picture awhile back and just came across it the other day.

nah, I'm gonna have to rebuild the motor at some point and I might just swap to a WRX turbo running like 7-10 lbs, I also got an EJ20 block so if the cylinder walls are good, Imma rebuild that and make POWWWERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Nice wagon! I see heaps of these in aus, but never noted a digital dash and would like to see how it turns out on the coils.....I agree ej25 block fill and drill the water galleys around the piston sleave and throw some fuel and pletty of FI into her and make some pwr

Well as far as coilovers go, I am going to run Miata rears, I need a set of miata coilover sleeves that can fit over OEM miata struts. For the fronts I am going to take the EF Civic coilovers I have in the back now and place them on my stock XT struts.

After I see how low this goes I plan on talking to one of the reps we got at work at BC and see about a set of custom aftermarket coilovers.

So here is an update, car should be running in about a week and a half, hopefully...

Anyway, here is what I got done...

Got a proper Coolant Feed line made from braided teflon coated hose from Pirtek, installing it into the car was WAY easier.



I can seperate it into 2 pieces too, here is how it looks installed.



Also modified a spare grille I had, need it to fit the horns into it so it needed to be cut. Plus, It does look cooler, going for an AE86 look.

Still gotta finish up the grille, I am going to clean up the melted plastic, basically cut out everything that isn't red, then going to fill in the sides so it looks a bit cleaner. Finally I will color match it to the car.

Finished up the induction system for the most part yesterday, also got the spoiler back on. Alas I am once again at an impasse as I am stuck figuring out how to get the hood release cable routed to the interior of the car

In the meantime here are pics of my new fog lights that arrived on Friday, they're gonna look dope once I get them mounted onto the bumper.

Anyway, I have spent copious amounts of time doing random crap on this, I now am read to paint the custom grille and new bumper filler! I will update with pics once I get home!

I care guys haha, I promise. I just have an engine I have to make for my daily because it's beginning to burn oil. However big update. Not the EJ20, not yet. BUT I started it up to confirm everything works.

Don't mind the smoke, there was a lot of oil in the intake path and in the cylinders. The old turbo burnt a lot (oil, coolant, gas, money, etc) and this one should be mostly good, worst case scenario, I have a TD04L with a flange that I can fit onto the car.

Also, Miata lowering springs and struts are ready to go on. So after this post, I'm gonna poop and then get cracking on those.

Also, The EJ will be getting built either this winter or next spring. I am thinking I'll use just some EJ205 heads.

Yeah no downpipe and running like shit will do that to you. There is still a LOT of oil in the intake path.
