Quick update...its finally on the road this week. My Mk1 decided to start having many problems, so took it off the road and pushed it in the corner. Had the chance to finally throw insurance on the Bug and bolt everything done, finish all the wiring and get the lights working. Figured it was time, so finally started driving it. Drove it to work ran great...not much else planned for it. I want to go taller tire in the rear and lower it more, but this will work for now. Needs to have the alignment fine tuned still, but gonna try just rack up some miles on it before winter comes.

I've been verrry lazy this year and have not gotten alot done.

Done a few odds and ends on the Beetle, but its still sitting in the corner. Very close tho. Waiting a few more parts. But all the lights are rewired and working great. Fenders welded up and patched. Rear bumper has been respaced so the decklid can open. I got some rear spacers, but they make a horrible noise when driving, so I took them out. Plan on doing adj rear spring plates prob in the spring so it'll be overall lower all around finally. The plates now are basically maked out on the 'ledge'.

Sprayed the decklid finally. Did some 'mods' to the lic plate as well so its not so ugly.

Very flipping cool. I'm glad you're keeping the patina too.

Actually not sure how many clicks the rear is. We couldn't get the torsion bars out without losing the original setting. Had to play around with the splines to get it to sit level. It's about 2 tho. Planning on getting shorter torsion bars and adj plates. Want to go lower in the rear.

The Amp is powered by a battery.

Whats your rear spline count? or did you use notched adj. plates? and how is your amp powered?

The fenders are gonna be painted and patina'd. But otherwise it's staying like it is.
