I'm sooooo glad you went Ford powered instead of Chevy powered like every other 240 owner.
Why thank you! I'm a ford guy myself when it comes to domestics. I hope to have it running within 2 weeks. Getting it mounted perfectly is the hard part. The rest is just plugging shit in :P
excited to see where this goes. How was the 302/T5 going in? On my Rx7 its basically mod free, no cutting or anything, are 240s the same?

it is practically mod free. i couple small hits on the firewall with a hammer and it gives you some space. in those photos it sits about 3/4 of an inch forward and about an inch higher than its final place but it was so easy to drop in. only real mod i have to do is cut some metal in the hump of the trans tunnel since the shifter will sit a tiny bit forward.
Hey I'm the guy that put together this car a couple of years ago. Here's what it looked like when I sold it;
I liked where this was going until you sold my wheels and put a ford motor in it.
Well the car I'm building isn't the same as the car I had originally, so technically you didn't build the current one. But I loved the wheels and I ***** to see em go, but in my eyes it was worth it.
Edit: the car was in way worse shape when I got to it though which sucks. I know the current owner though!
Ok, it's been a while, but I've got some updates. I decided shortly after I got the 5.0 to do gt40p heads and a cam. When I did I found rust and pitting in one of the cylinders.
And to be honest I wasn't mad, since I found it before I tried to start it. But I did finally get the whole engine torn apart that day other than the rotating assembly
fast forward about a month and these came back to my house
And bought some parts for it :P
I also picked up an S13 VLSD
And some seats
Aaaaaaand wheels
Yes this is the actual picture of the wheels (purchased from upgarage) right now they are 18x7.5 et44 but once I relip them they will be at 18x10 et12 and 18x11 et0
I'll try to keep this updated more often. Hope people did think this project was dead hahaha

Thanks man! It was in my possession last year, took it to the ride for sandy hook, and the uconn show, and pike and what not. This car will be finished by spring so you'll see the new one at the shows next year. What do you drive??
