2004 Infiniti FX35 Static Wrapped in Hexis Satin Blue Metallic Vinyl (picture heavy)

Hi everyone. Greetings from WI.
I've been lurking here for a while. Finally put my build thread together. Car is 2004 Infiniti FX35 AWD, original color is Golden Sand. Everything here is a DIY, except the suspension and brakes upgrades. I own this car for 2 years now. It's not finished yet, but I'm close. Enjoy.

2011

First week of ownership. Bone stock. First mod, tinted windows:



First stage of modding. Debadged, badgerless grille, 3M Di-Noc interior and exterior trim wrap. 2-Din Pioneer Retrofit. Screen relocation. Sport Taillights. Lower trim was painted. Blacked out headlights with angel lights.













Soundproofing and backup camera were installed.










Custom taillights. Painted satin black inside.

2-Din retrofit, Stage 2. Wasn't happy how it came out first. Redid the whole thing.












Decided to wrap the car. First time DIY wrap for me. Vinyl is Satin Blue metallic by Hexis


































Finished. Took me around 5 days.

















Decided to redo the interior. Wrapped everything in java suede:

Akebono brakes were purchased and painted, but I sold them after all

How has the ride changed after you installed the coils? My mom wants to get one and wants me to install some stuff on it to make it look badass!

Thanks. Yeah, the ride is day and night difference with coilovers installed. It's like riding on rails right now with coils and chassis braces on.

Thanks. The painter messed up the lowers first time. They didn't match, he didn't blend them in, so I had no choice. It was much cheaper to wrap the whole car for me than blend everything at a proper paint shop.

I would do it again in a heartbeat. I really enjoy the process, although its very time consuming and you need to be very patient.

Thanks, I was thinking to switch to black brushed aluminum, but now I'm too lazy to redo these parts. I'm in e-commerce, just like working on cars.
