  • German Jetta IV VR5

    Hi guys,

I'm Lars, 22 years old (turning 23 on monday :P ) and from Rostock/Germany. This is nearly the same text I just posted in the intro-section My english is not perfect, so don't goof on me

I bought this car in february 2012. It's a 1998 2.3 VR5 with 150hp. First owner was Volkswagen in Wolfsburg, so the car is nearly fully loaded. Unfortunately the paint isn't perfect anymore, but oberall the car was in quite good condition!

First act were coilovers and wheels. Fortunately a friend had some Dz exklusiv DZ1 in 17x8.5 ET30 & 17x10 ET30 with 215/40R17 and 245/35R17 Falken FK452

There also were some modifications like sidemarkers or exhaust system. Unfortunally there aren't any pics of it...I chopped the air cleaner housing and assembled a pre-muffler dummy and a Friedrich Motorsport exhaust in Diesel-look (2x76). Last week I removed the cat, yesterday I got it back from the welder. Not that beautiful, but it's works

This weekend I will trade my wheels for some others. It's time to change something, getting bored of the wheels after 1 1/2 years.
There are also some new parts at home but I don't have enough time for installing, because I'm writing exams and bachelor thesis right now. So, I'm quite slow now...

Epytec camber plates -2.0° for the rear:

    ECS wheel centering plates:

Silver project camber ...yeah don't know how to call it in english...upper front strut mount?!

GLI-rear lights and acrylic spray for amber style:

I'm keeping you guys updated and would be happy for some feedback (criticism & praise)

just tested my new wheels. Audi S8 19x8,5 Et42 with 15mm Spacers in the rear and 20mm spacers in the front. I want to be 1" lower, but the wheel arch inner panel (don't know if it's the correct word^^) lay on the tire...so i will remove this and hope it will fit with camber plates in the front

and heres a pic of my frame notch a got yesterday:

BIG THANKS TO lwrde46 FOR HIS GREAT HELP!!

                        sorry for shitty mobile pics

                        compressed spring

                        camber plates from Silver Project:

                        needing some more space...

Did a short testdrive...it scrubbed fuckin much, so we put it 10mm higher in the front. As soon as possbile I/we will install -2° camber plates in the rear and wheelcentering plates. I'm thinking about getting wide fenders in the front to get 10mm lower in the front
