I like the color-matched interior a LOT, and I usually think they look tackier than tacky.
I can't help but think that that Sony HU isn't doing any favors for the interior, though. Are you just using it for volume control and sending the iPad's audio out to the amps? I would be very tempted to figure out a way to slide it back further into the dash, cover it up, and machine up a big pretty aluminum volume knob that matches the satin metal finish in the interior. The car's just so damn clean, it just doesn't feel right, you know?

If that's the case, have you considered at all using an iPhone/iPad to RCA cable, and running that cable through an RCA volume control? I've done exactly zero research on how that all would work, but you might be able to eliminate the HU completely and replace it with just a single knob.
Downsides would be you'd probably want external equalization, so that means an EQL or similar. Might be too complicated, and I doubt it'd save any money, but it could look clean as can be and free up some space in your center stack for gauges or whatever else you might like.
Of course, a nice single-DIN HU would look good too

I'd like to hear the exhaust when you get it on, I have a CC to and want to do a custom exhaust of some kind...I'm dumped on solowerks with the helper springs and rear perches removed. I am also going lower this weekend once my frame notch is done tomorrow. My subframe should be close to 2 inches or less from the pavement when I get done.
