The ipad is in. I ended up getting a seperate headunit to control the ipad . i have a lot of fab work ahead of me, I ended up moving the climate controls down to where the ashtray is and mounting the Sony head unit below the ipad to where they were before. I have to no make one of trim pieces for the two. i wanted to show the ipad mount but my CF card reader is terrible and wont read mine. getting a new one soon and will upload dash pics.
but in the mean time, i got my new lips and barrels for the wheels. These are now 20" with step up lips and barrels. i just hope they fit with the measurements I took.

got the trim for the lower controls all mocked and mostly body worked. need a skim coat on the abs before paint, and one or two small gaps to fill with some filler. should be all done tomorrow! oh and the ipad surround is finally silver again, never again will I hydrodip something
you can see the small gap between the side section and the center console. shouldnt be hard to fill, its only about 1/8 of an inch.

well, dash is 99 percent finished, need to do one more coat on the lower trim piece around the climate control, attempted to bevel and i dont like how it turned out. other than that, it came together pretty well.
another fun thing, i never really looked at the holes on the lips and barrels until the other day cause i hadnt had time to assemble. but, only 3 holes match up, so ive been very carefully drilling them all out. each wheel has taken about 2 hours to drill and assemble. I wont be getting my lips from the same supplier again.
