I plan to look for some nice 3pc wheels come tax time on a budget right now I will probably end up with some 19x11s they look better much easier to tuck tire and not destroy my car.
The way i look at it, subframes are very cheap. and the more you hit it the more it will clearance itself. With that said, no i dont have any skidplate. I did tuck my exhaust higher in the tunnel but other than that nothing special. The subframes are strong on these cars. mine looks very beat up but is still straight and square in the chassis

I think the height is good, you just need better wheels. IMO, that body doesn't pull off mesh wheels as well as others. I would recommend some concave wheels.

I love being low I just got the car so i'm just not thrilled about tearing the sub frame and oil pan up,to be low you kinda gotta just not give a shit so ya i'm gonna drop the front another half inch tonight and in going to order a skid plate see where that gets me. I also had my buddy mod out my test pipes installing them this weekend should be fun.

I do appreciate the encouragement and the push to do better It will get there just takes time

Sorry to say, you set yourself up for this from the get-go.

Don't make your thread title "JDM Conversion 350GT build" if you're going to do the basic Made-In-China mods, throw in a few JDM pieces here and there, and expect us to praise you.

Stop making spending valuable time and money on cheap parts and focus on what's important- most of us could respect you leaving it at stock height and adding real JDM parts one at a time more than bolting on cheap stuff.

I'm sure you can pull this off, and I'm really hopeful that you'll come around and do the actual conversion. Your car could be incredibly badass.
