I plan to look for some nice 3pc wheels come tax time on a budget right now I will probably end up with some 19x11s they look better much easier to tuck tire and not destroy my car.
The way i look at it, subframes are very cheap. and the more you hit it the more it will clearance itself. With that said, no i dont have any skidplate. I did tuck my exhaust higher in the tunnel but other than that nothing special. The subframes are strong on these cars. mine looks very beat up but is still straight and square in the chassis

          I think it looks good!

Looks weird with Nissan badge up front and Infinity and G35 badge on the trunk. Also looks as if there is some left over glue from the INFINITY letters under the logo

Really though, looks pretty good man. I can appreciate someone doing a build on a budget and I think you've done a great job. If you're going for good fitment though you really need at least another .5" in back and like 1" up front, which might not be very practical with that big lip you have. Good start, looking forward to following your build.

I can dig it. Wish you hadn't done the quick release bumpers though. Takes away from the classiness IMO.

                    Good going though

Agreed. I don't get QD bumpers on a street car. Just seems like something that belongs on some shitbox S13 rather than a G.

Will be watching this thread. I've always had a major soft spot for the G35.

If you're wheel shopping, I seriously recommend checking the classifieds on here and on VIPStyleCars.com - there's shittons of baller wheels on both, and you'd be surprised what you can get for a reasonable price.

I still don't get why you would swap the beautiful Infinity badge with an ugly Nissan one.
Now the front looks as if it "gained some weight".

People stop criticizing him about the wheels and the parts he uses. If he just plain and simple likes to buy chinese brand shitty stuff its his problem. But really dud try working your piggy bank saving skills, it's much better to buy brand stuff that lasts than to buy shitty quality products that don't. But hey that's just my .2 cents, nice wheels they look really cool. I would of gone with a pair of 19s, that way you could of filled the fender arch better. Keep up the good work, and think twice about what you purchase.
