  • I'll cut your hair for free. Supercharged Miata

I bought me a new daily the other day, while my Silvia is getting ready for duty.

    It's an 1997 Miata Na, or at least, I think it's 97.
It got the huge 1.6 engine, with, some not found, 90 hp!

When I first tried the Miata, I was sold. Just had to have it.

    It came home;

Had lying around some Bmw e30 BBS wheels, so they took the place of the oem Mazda's.

A friend of mine, some what around two metres, tried the Miata. A little to small for his taste.

I then got some 30mm drop Lesjöfors springs on it. Made it a little bit lower, and a whole bit bouncier. The car makes boing boing boing movements on uneven surface.

I then cleaned most of my crap out of the garage, and placed my beloved ones in it.

And, since i love playing a photographer, I took pics.

Need more drop though, and I'd like some more exiting wheels...

Looks like a solid base. Black is a great colour and the hardtop is a must have! Good luck.

Looks very clean, I'm excited to see where this goes. And btw if it's a '97 it's a 1.8L.

^ He beat me to it. 90-93 are 1.6L and 94-97 are 1.8L. Check the valve cover. If the letters are recessed, then it's a 1.6L. If the letters are raised, it's a 1.8L.

No, in Norway, or maybe all of Europe, they was delivered with th 1.6 engine until the NB.
Because of Norwegian new car-taxes, most of the NA miatas in Norway are 1.6. Don't think I've seen any NA Miatas in Norway with the 1.8. To bad, but it does the job.

Got new plates. These are shiny, and have them N's on them.

And my roof spoiler wing thing came in, so that got mounted.

I'm also moving over to my Flickr account, since photobucket is really destroying any sign of quality in my amateur pics.

Mounted the front spoiler lip today, and since I've got vacation from work, I lurked around photowhoring a bit.

And, the Bmw wheels are back.
