The last year new clutch don't like them supercharges..

So, I ordered a new one.

With lightweight aluminium flywheel, and a 4 puck ceramic disk, I'm hoping it would do the job.
Will soon be doing skids again

An popular upgrade on the Mx5 is a brake master cylinder brace. They are possible to buy in all shapes and sizes. Some cost more than others..
They help a little against firewall flex and help with the feel of the brake pedal.

So it was time to find the nearest workshop, and cue the music!

After looking around in the trunk of my car I found this!

      A piece of steel, 3 meter long, and 4mm x 30mm

      Found some tools:

      Measured what I needed,

      and marked where to cut:

      2 pieces that's a 100mm and one 190mm long piece.

Angle grinded the heck out of them.

And, after some heat, and a little.. HAMMER TIME! they looked like this:

After some more mocking up, welding a bit, and some hole drilling:

And when everything was a 100%, it was all welded together.

Drilled the hole for the adjusting bolt.

After that I welded in some reinforcing, and grinded all back to clean steel.

Followed by some coats of primer:

      And some coats of paint.

I only had some BMW paint around, but they make a lot of pretty things, so why not?

After everything dried, the hole for the adjusting bolt where tapped to 8mm, and later re-drilled and re-tapped to 10mm for strength.

      Mounted!

      Easy as that!

Mounted the new flywheel and clutch.

          It's awesome.

Then, a buddy volunteered to try my car so I could film it..

          Guess it's okay

Also, got some goodies in the mail yesterday. Forgot to take a picture of the Koyo rad

And I ordered new rims. All I can say is that they are 9" wide both front and rear

                      Thanks man

Just found out the wheels I ordered wouldn't be in stock before late September.
Sucked, so I canceled the order, and bought spacers for the wheels I allready have. 50mm in the front and 20mm in the rear.

Love the feedback you guys give on the car
So awesome that I'm not the only one who like it.

After three weeks of summer vacation, the car now got the Megasquirt mounted.
Removed the original MAF and installed a Auto Meter wideband sensor.

Had two nights with a buddy and a computer on a local highway, and after a couple hours each night and god knows how many km's the car is actually pretty well tuned.

I'm currently running 0.5 bar of boost, and the car got a lot more power now than before.

The Miata also got some spacers in the front. 25mm.

                        I love my car

Hope to see more soon. !!

Yesterday was trackday-day, and it broke...

                              ...the exhaust rubber bushings

The car worked awesome all day!

So today, I bought some powerflex ones.

I started the day with something I've been wanting to try for a while.
Spacesavers in the back. The car drove awesome! So funny, but after about five laps they died..

After a long summer, it may be time for an update:

When the Megasquirt got mounted, I also took some time shining the engine bay:

Zerek roll bar came in the mail, and got mounted:

We had to part out my car for a couple of days so my buddy could get his turbocharged miata approved by the local DMV

                                Some extra pics of that
