How low can it go? Citroen DS

Hi people,


This thread will be used for all future citroen DS projects.

This is how it all started....
Took a walk with my dog one day trough the forest.
I saw some cars just sitting there, almost reclaimed by nature.













I got the contact from the owner, and finally made a call.
Cars were for sale, and I just needed to decide witch one to take for restauration, and this was tough decision.

Well, I bought them all

Project 1

Lets start with disassembly and checking the situation.




Doesn't look that bad












But nothing that couldn't be repaired.








After all was cleaned from rust, We did applied first protective coating.

Project 2

In February 2013 I have started another build.
Same car, almost same color, but different...

Project is the blue one from the picture




Car was bought in 2003 from famous rock star here in Croatia, so it has some interesting history. It has been on CD cover and there is one song about this one.

Anyhow, lets start.
