An unfortunate update: My starter and flexplate are grinding. Car won't start and I'm stuck at work. Looks like Six will be taking his second trip on a flatbed, in the morning when I get off of work. Trying to find another starter right now, but will be getting a new flexplate in the morning.
EDIT: Bought a new flexplate AND new starter. Just gotta find someone who can help me fix it tomorrow :| I don't have the equipment to do so.Last edited by Spawn613; 07-14-2013, 06:51 PM.

Quick update: Megan Racing motor mounts arrived today. Will be putting them on saturday and jacking up the car to see why it won't crank. Hopefully, it's just the starter bolts have loosened up so the starter is skipping off the flexplate. If that's the case, I'll still install the brand new starter, get a refund for the new flexplate I don't need, and the core of the old starter.

WHY HELLO THERE. Yes, the bottom starter bolt fell out and the top one was close. Went ahead and installed the new starter anyway so I won't have to worry about it for a while.
Got everything done in time to drive down to Orlando for V2 Lab/Go Party's Back To School Bash charity car show in August. Installed a new Stant Superstat before I left for Florida.
Apparently, one of the smaller coolant hoses from my intake manifold had developed a small leak on the way down and I didn't know, because my temp gauge doesn't work. Well my car broke down the day before the show on I-4 in Orlando. Ravi and Xavier came to our rescue where we were able to limp the car off the road. My wife and I worked on replacing the small hose til 1 in the morning. Made it to the show and met Adil from Enjuku Racing. Decided I'd bring the 240 by the shop on the way home.
Brought it by Enjuku for them to patch up so I could make it home. Found out that my engine got so hot, that it melted all of the plug wires and broke 2 spark plugs inside the boot. They found me a set of used wires, replaced the plugs, pressure tested my system, set my TPS and my timing.
Now for things that have happened this week. Last month, Randy from Street Legal Media had cut off his ISIS Single GT muffler to make blast pipes for his RB20 S14. He put it up for sale for $20, so I jumped on that opportunity with both feet. On Monday, I spent an hour and a half getting the black spray paint off of it with steel wool.
Went by Lawson Performance to have it welded on, but he couldn't get to my car until Wednesday (today). So I drove down the street to Audio Zoo to get my headlights restored. Unfortunately they wouldn't be able to get to my car until they opened on Tuesday.
Well, bright and early Tuesday morning, I showed up at open. Got the headlights restored and spotted a pair of affordable Memphis Audio speakers. Decided to go ahead and pick them up while I was there. Went home and installed them (including the speaker grill to replace the bashed OEM ones).

Today, I headed to the exhaust shop.

I still have some stuff that has yet to arrive and some touching up to do before Sunday. My car crew is co-hosting our first dyno day with Lower Class Love. Will update the post asap.
Also, a change has been made to future plans for the car: I have decided to go with a slightly ostentatious/pimped out version of a storm trooper car, so I want a front end that is menacing. I decided to go with the zenki version of the R33 front bumper. Yes, I know the picture is a kouki, but it's the best looking S14 to have this bumper on it.

I don't like to become complacent with my vehicles and I plan on having some small gold accessories here and there. Saw that the gold Powered By Max hood spacers were only $30, so I decided to order some. They showed up on Thursday and wasn't able to get back to working on the car until Saturday.
Spent most of the day cleaning the car and then took it to a friend's shop so he could help my install the spacers. We resprayed all the spots the plastidip had come off the hood and lip as well. I decided not to take the dip off the Nissan emblem. I was quite happy with the stealth look it gave it.
A shot I took of my car and a few others from my crew. Unfortunately, the 700hp Mk. IV Supra is not associated with HG, but he did come out to our first dyno day! We had a ton of cars show up and things didn't wind down until around 6 pm. It started at 11 am.
