  • You boys like Mexico.. ?

Hey guys, I'm new to S|W but not to the scene.

The ruckus got built over the winter with lots of blood, sweat and kneeling by myself, my good friends and of course my dad. Since It's now nearing completion, I needed something new to sink my teeth into. A 3 hour drive down to Three Hills AB...

...ended with us picking up this beauty! A 1995 w/ 131,000 kms and absolutely no rust (Alberta likes to eat these babies up).

A lot then happened within the next 2 days, between the interior and trunk getting a thorough clean/detail oh and learning to drive a standard.. but we wont talk about that just yet

    Used lots of these..

I'll get out and take some better shots of the car this weekend, and hopefully some more low will follow..

Great thread title. What are your plans for it? Please don't say Racelands and some Diamond steelies.

Very clean, wish my Miata was as mint.

Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Sorry no real updates as of late. My plans don't include diamond steelies or racelands, although it is going to be a somewhat budget minded build! It's definitely going to be low and moderately slow though

Thoughts of 16" or a staggered 15" and 16" fitment have crossed my mind as well

So I've got some fortunate/unfortunate news guys...

I'll start with the latter, being that the Miata has been put up for sale on kijiji (basically the canadian craigslist). This is sad, but its not without a cause! Some random pics before she goes..

Now for the fortunate news! My neighbor, who lives two houses down, has decided to finally let his car go. Not to just anyone though, but to me. I am beyond excited about this as its the car that really got me into everything automotive. Here's a little teaser of the old guy sitting pretty..

I will be starting a new build thread for the scooby in the near future, so if anyones interested they can check that out too

Decided I wanted to do something proactive to the car this afternoon by stripping the trunk and giving her a little cleaning. It took about 5 minutes (if that) and the results are well.. A white trunk and a loss of around 1000 kg

                              Then shit got weird.
