  • My new jap project

Hi all, some of you may have seen my daily beetle before

I have just bought another project to use over winter and then next summer alongside my beetle
The new project? A 95' eg4 civic, 1.5 non vetec. I'm hoping to go down the stance route and its very new to me stancing a car and working on a new(er) car so it will definitely be an experience.
So far I've colour-coded most of the bump strips, wiper and aerial delete, sprayed the skirts gloss black, de-cat pipe and a set of dc2 recaros are on the way!. The car came with coil over sleeves which suck balls, and I peronally think that theyre unsafe. The car has only 67000 on the clock and is absolutly solid body wise and mechanicly which is great
Plans to do before winter are
    Coilovers
    Camber kit
    Tie bars and control arms
    Bys spoiler
    Whales p*nis induction
    Cat back exhaust
Wheels, not sure whether to go with the rota zero plus or xxr 527
    Here's some photos anyways

Thanks for all the comments so far guys. I was thinking the other day at how odd it is that over in the us the civic is the main young drivers car and very common, but in the UK where I am they are few and far between. My civic was the first eg I had seen in the flesh. Funny eh? anyways I decided last night to buy a new exhaust as mine was looking horrid, and upon removing it got a lot worse, it had been horribly welded, actually snapped when I took it off too. So a new stainless system is on the way
                    Here's a few pics

You can see here that when they welded the exhaust the made it too short so then they welded a price onto the cat, not good.

I also discovered a hole, sad times

I also undersealed the beetle and civic, used 5 liters of the stuff haha I have high expectations of how its going to perform seeing how well it stuck to my skin

I'm new to the Honda scene so if you have any tips or whatever is love to hear it

Depending how low and what wheel/tire and combo you'll be running, you'll probably have to cut the front shock towers like this.

So I've just spent my whole pay this month on an exhaust and seats

I'm in the middle of getting it sitting right

                        And my new seats
                        This it before wet-vac

                        And after

I also got my bump strips properly colour coded as I can't paint for shit
Having to strip the back end to get the bump strips out is a pain in the ass

So I don't think much will happen until next month as I have no money, the joys of having 2 cars

I haven't really done anything exciting with the car, and I'm now buying a mk1 golf gti in the upcoming months so there isn't much point in buying anything else.
So here's some photos anyway, I bought ap coils and a rep spoon lip

i like the colour, but you may aswell just put the front plate on properly i think, unless its smoothed

I agree it would look better, but there's tabs for the numberplate block, so the plate comes off the sticky pads
