i will try to spread the goodness that is the e28 as you have done. hah

so i made it home to savannah and from my trip, learned many things.

-the suspension in the rear is 100% collapsed so the car made some contact to say the least into the 245/45 tires on way home
-the rear driver side caliper is not working to well, and the other one is barley in better shape
    -electrical electrical electrical

    and the babies together

So knowing me, i decided to take another trip in the car. 220 mile round trip from Savannah GA to Charleston SC to vist my brother who was there covering a tennis event for tennis magazine. well car drove fine to there. after the brief weekend, when i came time to come back, the dam clutch pedal goes to the floor. slave cylinder barley working. it worked barley enough only to shift up with a help from rev matching. no downshifting or going to netural. pretty stressfull since i went down the main parkway, hitting every light. stalled out twice, and whats funny was the cars behind me at the times were a Bentley coupe and a audi r8 vert. showing the strength of bmw to them!

so i put in all new fuses, as the old were still the original bmw ones and they literally fell apart while removing them. a quick test of everything showed that fix an insane amount of problems.

a month passes of extreme brokeness-angina which was remedy by a freelance job for davis furniture. back in the game with order of new parts.

removed the rear driver side brakes. the brake line were cracked so some ss lines will go in place

having a problem with how the rear arm drops cause the blown suspension. need that suspension

i think the rotor is shot

and here is the problem caliper, look at that muck

after some taping off and media blasting i was left with this

more taping off, some caliper paint, polish of the pistons and rebuild new rebuild kit. things looking new

so a new wheel came in for it

and on the car it went. leather has a couple of marks, but overwise its in good shape

so the cluster was acting up so i knew i needed most likly a new si board. when i pulled mine out i was shocked to find the damaged that the batteries had done over the years. a new baord was needed and not just batteries. so i bought for 185$, a new program-logic batter-less board
