Thanks. I knew I wanted something mesh. I wanted my truck to have the same look and feeling my mk3 had. This was the obvious choice. Now if the dude would just email me back so I can make the arrangements to go snag them that would be great. 16x8 et 0 and et 16 according to the owner. I found some other pictures on the interwebs of a black first gen s10 with them, but hes not as low and is running retarded tires. Im most likely gonna run either 215 55 r16s or 205 55 r16 on them.Originally posted by kittenpuncher View PostGreat wheel choice.

Another awesome weekend. Got to surf, skate, clean the truck, install my new bed cover, and pick up a new set of wheels.
New bed cover, new rear drop and the custom tail light picture

I threw the old wheels on that came on the truck back on. The offsets are a little lower and sit nice and flush. They remind me of baby saw blades. I spent the other night stripping all the black paint off them. I Plan on refinishing the firebird mesh wheels I have for my winter wheels.

The new project. Picked up my new 16x8 mesh wheels. First I need to test fit. That way I can get spacers and tires ordered while I start the refinishing. The centers look great but I need strip the clear coat, Fix some curb rash, and polish lips. No big deal. Im so close to my original vision.

Beyond stoked. My new slogan for the truck and this build has become "Don't call it a comeback".Last edited by LOCALTHIRTEEN; 08-12-2013, 08:45 AM.

Thanks. Surprisingly they are not easy to find. I got lucky and a local guy picked him up for a bmw project and had way to many other projects going on to make these work. Plus he was stoked on what Im trying to accomplish with the truck.Originally posted by CraigSnedeker View PostThose new rims look fantastic, and I hope to pick up a set for my S10 too!

Yes, they are. Around here there's one set for sale on Craigslist for $600 and another for $250 (and he knows I want them, I just gotta get the money, and the tires are almost brand new!)Originally posted by LOCALTHIRTEEN View PostThanks.
