Thanks guys. Brent I make all types of art and stuff from skate decks too. Been doing it for a few years now.

Using old decks just sparked up an idea for a center console in my Luv.
This is an cool build though.

Lol chihuahuas and slammed and stanced trucks gtg. lol
Yeah Its gonna go lower for sure. I also need to get some better drop shocks for the front at least for the summer. I was looking around and found coilovers for the front for $600. But im like I could bag the front for less since I still have my Compressors valve rails and tank from my mk3.

Ive got a ton of ideas on how im going to get this thing some fitment like the mk3. Already calculating for some style 7s or similar mesh wheels on it. Chevy is 5x4.75 which is 5x120.65. BMW is 5x120. I can in theory run any bmw fitment wheel after a very simple redrill to open them up .65mm and a hubcentric ring to reduce the larger centerbore down to my chevy center bore. Im gonna need to pull it all off with no rear camber, Its gonna be a challenge for sure but I love that. Ill build the truck in stages. So where its at right now is the first stage. See if I can get it some flushness on the 16s. I just added some rear spacers which got the rear right where I wanted them although I could go another half inch out. The next night night I have some time Im gonna swap the spacer to the front to see where the one inch spacer will sit the front. Then I figure out if I want to go a half inch wider in the back or not once I swap the drop blocks.

Ill probally get stuck going through like an assload of wheel sets in the mean time. I really would like to own a set of 16in standard daytons for it at some point. Always wanted a set.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. We are getting there. I spent some time working on polishing the lips of the firebird mesh wheels over the weekend. They are cleaning up nicely.

Worked on the lips some more. Starting to get there. Wet sanded. Still need to fix the curb rash on the one. All in due time. photo 1003416_478350355586626_1032070238_n.jpg
