Hi all. Great journals so far, amazed at the amount of effort some of you put into your cars. I guess we all share the same 'culture', regardless of where we are/come from.
So I've bought my first bmw about a year ago, a techno violet 328i sport, in its original condition with full service history, 3 owners, manual, half leathers, 8 button obc, non-sport steering wheel, 328 splits, pretty basic spec. but in exceptionally good condition, only small issues being a bit of rust on the boot lid and a scuff on the front bumper.
Went with a friend in his arctic silver 328i to pick it up:

These are a few pictures from the advert:

On the way home:

Gave it a full service, changed the belts and then the first few mods were the M50 manifold and put in an evo steering wheel.
Found a full leather sport interior on ebay with heated seats and lux leather door cards in black which then went in. I have no pictures of these they were a bargain and in great condition.
At the car wash:

With a few other mates:

Put a Scorpion exhaust on for a few months, but found it to be too loud an bassy for my day to day driving and took it off.
A friend was selling his very rare interior, which I did not hesitate to take off him. Full m3 extended red leather incl. underdash, door cards, centre console.

Purchased some E34 M5 turbines for a good price in a staggered set up, and as it was winter and not much point putting them on I sent them to a friend who is very well known for what he does for a refurb.

As the weather got better I purchased some HSD twintube coilovers which then went on + front and rear reinforcement plates:

Before:

After:

HSD Extended dampening adjusters:

Sitting pretty outside, next to my mate's ultra rare coloured E36:

After the coilovers bedded in I went a little lower:

A few photos from a local graffiti tunnel meet:

The Wheels came back - diamond cut lips and shadowchrome barrels and centres:

Test fitting - started to rain so didn't get a chance to test fit properly (wind the jack down):

Tyres also arrived Hankook v12s 205/40 and 225/35

Wheels on:

Had a set of e46 330 calipers painted black waiting to be put on, a pair of front brembo disks which were sent for drilling and goodridge braided brake hoses. Purchased a set of PF street pads which Im currently bedding in. Can feel the difference already but have no doubt they'll only get better.

Before:

After:

And a bit of instagram:

A few phone pics, really need to get someone with a good camera to snap it. First wash after putting the wheels on, brake dust cleared up pretty well off the lips with car shampoo, no need to polish yet. But I'm waiting for some sealant to arrive to make life easier.
Also went lower on the front. I'm not as low as some of the guys on here but I think the work car park is now out of the question. And considering the amount of speed humps on my road, it would be unbearable to live with on a daily basis.

Pre-wash, car looks nearly matte!

That's it for now :-).
