  • Project RadioFlyer: W124 Touring

Hi all, been lurking the forums for some time now but have yet to post anything. Just picked up my 95' W124 Signal Red wagon last week as I could make use of the trunk space. Sold my Imola Red MtechII E30 and picked this gem up the same day for a steal, 2nd owner @ 186,000 on the clock. It could use a paint job, but no big deal.

Here are pictures of the IR E30 I was talking about... I owned it for nearly 5 years, but decided I needed trunk space instead of a coupe.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Within 4 hours of selling, I found this on craigslist!!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

20hrs later I picked up a set of authentic Brabus Monoblock III's in 18x8.5/9.5 on MBWorld. They arent for everyone, and personally dislike the charcoal faces.. I plan on re doing them in silver eventually. Tires sizes I went with are 215/40 and 225/40. Thanks to David and Lee @714Tires for making things happen for me!!!

(235/40s & 275/35s mounted in first two pictures, sitting next one of my prized possesions )

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Did an led/hid lighting overhaul just to update things a bit!!! (My gf thought it'd be cool to be in the picture so please don't mind her lol) Here's how the car sits today

          This

And hurry with painting the wheels: It's a shame to not express those beauties by their full extent.
This can become a masterpiece if done right

Sure, its an 87' with 88,000 miles... dogleg transmission, all original. Only have a couple pictures, but here's a driveway shot and with my little bro's e30 m.

Just ordered a pair of viair 444c's to start the bag build!! I was thinking of doing cut h&r springs, but don't want to destroy a perfectly strait bodied car.

Couldn't agree with you more.. Car looks to have been repainted and for the price I picked it up for, I can't complain!! All in due time the entire car will get a new paint job. It's my daily so can't have it down for too long.

              -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Teaser of what's to come in the mail next week since someone guessed it. Disregard the bag as it's not mine, but a pair of viair 444c's

Whats up brotha! Fan of your e28, your setup is badass

                      ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Not much of an update, but I did a complete exterior detail on the car over the past few days using my rotary orbital Dewalt machine. 4 step process included Menzerna products : PowerGloss, 104ff SIP, 85rd Micro polish, and sealant. The faded lower panels turned out not so faded!!! Still needs to be resprayed, but this should do for the time being. Water bead was perfect as well

                            Nice AMV8...

As well as everything else. Love what you're doing with the W124. I have a POS facelift sedan, really would like a wagon to play with.
