Heres little bit story about my summer ride:

The car is a 1974 Mercedes Benz 220d. It is almost completely as it was from the factory, with only newer injectors and small mods to diesel pump. The suspension setup is built with Slam Specialities SS-5 (front) and Universal Air Aero Sport (rear) bellows. And it’s operated via 4 manual valves, Viar 480c, KPC meters and a 5-gallon aluminum tank. The rear fenders are slightly modified to better suit the needs of modified suspension travel. And yes the car can be driven ridiculously low and yes it does scrape and no the body of the car will not be fixed, painted or even washed …ever. It’s the beauty in patina and the small details that really set this thing apart.

The wheels for the Merc are built by Hungarian guy, Kamil. They started their life as one piece ATS Barocks, met lathe and ARE Japan lips and barrels. The oem-look, the old-school specs 16x7.75 front and 16x8.5 rear and offsets around 25 they really suit this old Merc. Wrapped with 195/45 Nankang NS-II to give a bit of stretch and make the wheels stand out even more.

Even if these are probably the best possible wheels for w115, there are at least a couple of new and even more aggressive setups in mmy mind/garage/bedroom. But that’s a different story... stay tuned.

wheels look great. I would take off the two fog lights on the front of the car, just my opinion do what ever you think is best. I cant wait to see more, looks like its going to be a bad ass car.

3-piece barocks are the holy grail for classic slammed Benz's. Love it!

I strongly dislike this new old merc movement aside from the OG dudes who seem to have started and are all on here. But, this one is by far and above my favorite, love the wheels the miss matching body panels, totally killer.

Holy shit, that's a cool car...really like it, maybe painting the beige doors to match might look better, still keeping the patina look
